Yep, behold the glory of our brand new site design! Thanks for the many lovely comments so far; I do hope you'll all find it more streamlined and purty-like.
Shout-out time: many MANY thanks to Awesome Aric (yes, I think that's how I shall refer to him from now on) of Tiki Kitchen Design. Aric has been working with me and John for weeks now, and for every "hey, what if we tried THIS?" he gave us multiple options and somehow managed to mask his desire to throttle us with unbridled patience and enthusiasm. Those of you familiar with web design know just how difficult it is to design a customized site in Blogger, so the fact that Aric was willing to try - and had the skills to write code from the ground up when necessary - has been a godsend. We'll be continuing to tweak some of the links and pages this week, but in the meantime y'all be sure to thank Aric in true CW fashion, k?
And, Aric? We mean that. Truly. ;)Update: It seems we have all the bugs worked out now but we're hoping you guys can help us out by telling us about any problems you encounter. Let us know okay?

I'm using mac firefox and I have to refresh to see the page.
Still can't see it, after refreshing a few times. Using Firefox on Windows vista. Getting the plain white html page.
I'm running Firefox 3.5.2 on Windows Vista too, but I'm getting the plain html. Tried refreshing.
Direct link worked (love the new look), however when I tried to go to generic homepage, got the HTML. Refreshing did solve the problem as promised.

I had to refresh and I use Windows and Google Chrome.
I'm on Vista with Internet Explorer and the site is all wonky. Odd spacing--I had to scroll and scroll before I saw anything but ads.
The RSS feed to Google Reader was fine, though.
Running Firefox on Mac OS X, works just fine. Looks great! Excellent new design.

I really LOVE the new layout! & Gina, I have firefox & can see everything just fine & I have Mac OS X. Maybe you need to update your browsers (firefox 3.5 maybe?)
Okay, I love cakewrecks..... but this new site doesn't work. I have Vista 64X and then have tried it in both Firefox and IE... neither works. :-(
Wait, a couple of refreshes and it worked but it's loading painfully slow.
I just want to say how much I love having a carrot on my bookmarks toolbar.
Not quite right on Google Chrome.
Didn't work in Firefox 3.0.13 on a PC running XP. Refreshing the page fixed it but it was still very slow to load and I have 20Mbsp FIOS. Yes, maybe updating to Firefox 3.5 would solve the problem but I shouldn't have to stay up to the minute just to read a blogger site.

Firefox on Vista
Latest firefox on Ubuntu 9.04 (Linux) -- got the html page on first load; refreshed and all was well. Looks pretty slick!
I'm on a Mac, but using a Firefox browser, and refreshing the page doesn't seem to be fixing it. Can't wait to see it once all the bugs are fixed!!

I can load the page and see the pretty new design, but I can't see the header - there's just a big blank space at the top of the page.

All I got was the plan html, and I'm on a PC running Firefox version 3.0.
Using a PC with Mozilla Firefox, I got the plain html page when I typed in www.cakewrecks.com. Once there, I clicked "home" and got the proper page with images.
I think it looks absolutely great!
And, Jen, I'm so excited to get to meet you in a few weeks in Portland! Yay!!!
It looks fine to me! I have a pc and use firefox, and I can see everything perfectly!

I like the look but did have a problem accessing the page at first. It came up completely blank.
I have a PC and I use Internet Explorer.

Hey, I'm on Linux and Firefox. At first it didn't work, but shift+reload worked, and I think it looks great! Good Job Aric!
I'm getting a plain HTML page; am using a PC with Google Chrome.
I'm on a PC running Vista...
Came up first try with Google Chrome, though the search button in the upper right corner has the h wrapping to the next line (even after refreshing).
Firefox 3.0.13 missed the carrot jockeys and background (it was just navy blue) the first time. Looked great upon refresh.
Firefox on a PC but once I hit the "home" link, it went to the new site. I like how clean it looks - very nice!!
I'm on PC, Windows, and Firefox. It didn't work the first time, worked the second time, so I kept clicking. Looks like it works about half the time for me.
Love your new design! It didn't show up right when I tried the Sunday Sweets for the first time today (using Firefox on Windows Vista), but clicked "Refresh" and haven't encountered any problems since. Go CW!
I use the Google Chrome browser on a PC with Windows XP. When I first pull up the page it shows me the html but I took a fellow commenter's advice and hit refresh and I got the fabulous new page.

I'm on Windows Vista Home Premium and using Firefox 3.5 and I got the plain HTML at first.
I'm on Windows Vista and Firefox 3.5.2 and it came up with narrow side bars and a blank page with the plain text blog way down at the bottom, refreshing brought it up just fine and the page looks great!
