Also, that is definitely a platypus. And I'm pretty sure the "baseball glove" is growing mold.
The last one's a teapot! Not necessarily a teapot that one could pick up and pour from, but there are enough clues for me to guess. On the second-to-last one -- I got nothing. The first thing to pop into my head was a really stretched-out duck silhouette.
If you turn the baseball glove one upside down you have an udder. A scary, deformed udder.
As for my guesses I'm thinking a penguin sliding on its belly. The second one is a teapot.
First one: long black duck. Or shadow figure lying on a psychiatrist's couch while wearing a dunce cap. With a serious crick in his neck.

Obviously the first one is an Egyptian hieroglyphic of a guy (I think the Egyptian kings were called "guys", right?) reclining on a couch, party hat attached by a rubber band. The second one has to be the Enterprise (the star ship, not the aircraft carrier) because it is going in a direction no one has thought to go before. And for good reason.
I'm going to be geeky for a second . . . I really think that first one is the profile of the Star Wars species, Ortolan, with the long nose. I would include a picture but can't. You can just google "Star Wars Ortolan." The black ball is the eye and the red represents his ear . . Just tell I'm wrong! :)
I've seen enough bad cakes to know that the first one is a lonely Shriner, and the second one is a baby carriage, It looks too much like a teapot to really *be* a teapot.
It's a dead duck, because it's a "milestone" birthday usually celebrated with black balloons and over-the-hill cakes. You know what Maxine says..."I'd rather be over-the-hill than buried under it."

I don't see a duck at all on the 1st pop quiz one. A whale, maybe. But I'm guessing a pipe, ahem, of some kind. I can't say the 2nd one looks like a teapot, but that would be my guess of what it is supposed to be.

"Why a duck?" (to quote one of the lamer Marx Brothers jokes). I think the first of the unidentifiables looks like a rather abstract representation of a hash pipe. Please don't tell my kids I said this.
The second one is some kind of bracketed teapot which would be impossible to pour, even if it weren't made of cupcakes.
The second to last one is supposed to recall the Mad Men title logo, with Don in a snappy party hat.
2nd to last cake: embalmed Lenin laid on on a mortuary slab in a party hat.
