i am thankful for they way my dog licks my tears off my face when i am sad. he cheers me up like no one else. :)
I am thankful for being a part of a nerd family. We are going to see the Muppet movie after thanksgiving dinner and we will be all decked out in Muppet finery (think knit hats that look like Fozzie and Kermit). I'm also thankful that I get to surprise everyone else coming with us with Kermit the Frog cake pops :-D Yes, it is the little things.
I am thankful for good coffee on a Monday morning, my heating pad and advil for my messed up back, and wonderful friends!
I'm thankful That I get to be a momma to my three kids & that they all still like to cuddle with me in bed & tell me about there lives. Especially thankful to have my 14 year old, after intestinal surgery #7, laying here, at least for a minute, comfortably & a hubby who takes good care of me & our kiddos!!
I'm thankful that my 13-year-old daughter will still cuddle up with me on the couch to find all things new and geeky on the internet.
I am thankful that my daughter does not find animal hides to be very tasty, even when they do kind of look like cake! She's almost 8 months & is currently "exploring" our makeshift floor cushions.
One of the "little" things I'm thankful for? My family: husband and children. They are just amazing and make me a better person.
I'm thankful for my warm fleece robe and my electric blanket.
(Can you tell I live in Minnesota?)
I'm thankful for my husband and my 5 children. I'm thankful for the opportunity to be home with them. I'm thankful that after 13 straight years of at least one child in diapers, we have been diaper free for over a year! I'm thankful that when my husband was laid off he found a part time job that is more fulfilling than any job he has held before.
And I'm thankful for people who can see and point out the good and the beautiful when the ugliness threatens to overwhelm. Thanks Jen.
I'm thankful for my husband and kids and other family. But, most of all, I'm thankful for another holiday season with my dad. After he had a major and nearly-deadly health scare in summer 2010, I thought we wouldn't be able to have another Thanksgiving or Christmas together. Thankfully, I was wrong, and I'm so grateful.
I'm thankful for a healthy family, and the opportunities we all have.
I'm thankful for comments from my lovely readers, and bacon, and laughing so hard that I can't breathe.
I am thankful for answered prayers.
I am thankful for the extra blanket on my bed to help keep me so very warm and snuggly!
Snugglin' in my boyfriends oversized sweats while he makes me breakfast on a lazy Sunday! Top of my favorite things!
Raspberries, and the memory of picking them, barefoot, in my grandparents' backyard.
I'm thankful to be stocking up on Sam Adams Oktoberfest, Diet Mt. Dew, yogurt and bacon. They mean my husband is coming home safely after six months on deployment. Filling the fridge with his favorites is a simple step towards making this house *our* home again!
I'm thankful for another year of sight. I am terrified of the day thay I will permenetly loose my vision, but for now I am grateful that I get to see my daughters grow up and turn into beautiful young women.
I'm thankful that I get to take the train home on Wednesday and spend all of Thanksgiving with the family and tell them all about the latest funny posts from Cake Wrecks. Cake, pie and FOOD!
I am thankful for my snuggly puppy that always greets me with unconditional love no matter what.
I'm thankful for a warm, dry home, great family and friends, a healthy and happy baby (who is napping). I guess those are the big things, though. 3 little things: beautiful autumn weather, shiny Christmas ornaments and SUGAR! Mmmm, sugar.
I am thankful for so many things, but three in particular! (1) My daughter Scarlett, who is now 10 months out from her brain tumor resection, just turned one and slept all night last night! (2) My 1 week old nephew Caleb, who is as sweet as cake, and (3) my husband Chris, whose birthday was this week, and who is waiting to hear on a BIG job interview. These are my favorite things!!
I am grateful that I can walk out the door of my house without fear of harm.
My Sunday school class! They're loud and rambunctious, but I am quite thankful for them.
I'm thankful for warm mittens- it's cold out today!
Very thankful for my wonderful family, due to grow very soon with a baby! Took months of heartache and trauma from miscarriages but we are finally expecting our second boy in December/January. My 7 year old can't wait to be a big brother!
I'm thankful to have a husband who works very hard in order that I might stay home with our children. (And I'm thankful for Disney. :) )
Im thankful for the snarky, nerdy, sarcastic and fantastically strong women in my life. They help me hold myself, my children and my world together on a regular basis and I'd be lost without them.
I am thankful for Cake Wrecks. After long days in the office, I love coming home and getting a great laugh from some of these wonderful wrecks that you post on each and every day!
I'm thankful for my cat, because nothing makes you feel better than curling up with a purring fuzzball on a rainy day!
I'm the most thankful that my future husband will be coming home safe and sound from his overseas station for the holidays. Though it may not be much, I'm thankful for the 20 days we'll have spent together this year.
I'll also be really thankful to see him again in 6 months for our wedding!
And cake. I'm thankful for cake.
I'm thankful for heated seats in my car!
I am thankful for Nutella. :)
Among other things, like my two-year-old granddaughter who keeps me on my toes and in stitches (picture that!), I'm thankful for Cake Wrecks, Jen and John who give me something to laugh at when everything else is going wrong and/or overwhelming me. Wrecky Thanksgiving!
I am thankful for my wonderful husband and my little stinker of a dog.
I am thankful for routine mammography which found a tiny (.7 cm) localized and early detected breast cancer which has now been surgically removed.
I am thankful mostly for my 3 wonderful babies. I am thankful for the hard times in my life, because without them I would not fully appreciate the good ones. I am thankful for the many blessings God has granted me, even when it's hard to see them.
I am also very, VERY thankful for Nathan Fillion. :) ROWR.
I am thankful for my family!
Being around little kids that giggle; kind of like that Pepsi commercial from the '80's with the little kid and all those adorable puppies. Awwww!!!!!
I'm grateful my brother's cancer is gone, my other brother is on the way to recovery in rehab, and that I just got the complete boxed set of Firefly! Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm thankful for having an awesome hubby and our 5 year anniversary this past Thursday (Love you Paul!). I'm thankful for the people and things that bring smiles to my face throughout tough weeks (like CW!) And I'm thankful for being able to step back sometimes and look at things from a simpler view and realize how good life truly is and appreciate what I have been given.
I'm grateful for my grandparents, ages 90 and 91, and that they are still healthy, active, and with us for another Thanksgiving.
I am thankful that although some family and friends have passed this year, the ones who remain are closer than they were because of it.
Today I am thankful for hugs...got a lot of them this morning and it was wonderful!!
That first cake is just gorgeous! Hard to believe that's cake.........
I am thankful for Cake Wrecks, which has me laughing more times than not. Trust me, laughter is a precious commodity!
I'm thankful that my 10-year-old still likes for me to sing her a song at bedtime. Not every night, mind you. But often enough.

I'm thankful that my son and nephew have returned home from serving the military overseas and are able to have thanksgiving even if it is not with their family. We haven't seen seen my son in over 15 months and this year we all can be together. My nephew couldn't make it but he is safe stateside. May all our men and women be safe this thanksgiving.
I am thankful for my husband, my son, and our new bundle which will join our family around Easter!
I'm thankful for my students and for the privilege of sharing the world of science with them. And for those magic moments when the light dawns in someone's eyes and I hear those words "I get it-this is easy!".
