i'm thankfull that unlike so many i have a very good job and i can put food on the table for my kids even if i slog my guts out to get it and they don't eat it!!!!

Totally want a little dragon like that for a pet! Or at least for a cute plushie!

I know I'm too late for the drawing, but I'm thankful that we have found a nursing home for my grandma with alzheimers that can take her next week. We can still have Thanksgiving together before moving her there.

The little lizard - that was the first cake I ever made about two or three years ago; it is featured in a cake decorating book: I THINK it's Cakes to Dream on by Collette Peters. Interesting the baker doesn't note that on her website; the cakes are identical, not just similar.

I am thankful for all of the big things, of course, like husband, son, friends, pets and health. As far as little things, I have to say that I am really thankful for the awesome readers of this blog! I read all 502 comments and I was really touched by the humor, love, compassion, and, yes, thankfulness expressed. You draw a great crowd Jen and John. Thank you!

I am also thankful that nutcase68 is still alive and has friends to support him/her. My thoughts are with you.

Permit me just a few frivolous "little things": Disney's Pirates Online, Doug, and that my radio station, wnrn, does online streaming so I can listen to awesome music wherever I happen to find myself.
