Currently, I'm very thankful that my car has not required a costly repair in three months!
I am thankful for Sunday mornings. We all curl up in bed and watch tv together. Really the only time of day my husband, son and I are all calm and they are sweet.
snuggling with my baby in the morning, all the more special cuz he's 12 and "not a baby"
I'm thankful for the fact that, now that I've adopted a dog, I no longer need to clean up the cats' hairballs. :-)
Happy Turkey Day, everybody!
I'm thankful for so many things! My daughter, my husband, the internet. All the geeky things of the world - Star Trek, Star Wars, Dungeons & Dragons, anime...hooray for the things that make life worthwhile.
And Cake Wrecks too - thanks Jen, you always make my day a little brighter!
I am so thankful that my daughter and I made it through a very tough year!
Thankful for Cool Whip:
The last ingredient in
my potluck's salad.
I'm thankful for my three little fuzzies Calliope, Twilight, and Dusty, who consistently make my day with their absolute adorableness.
My hubby and kids :-)
I am thankful for skype. I live in Germany, and my whole family is in the US. Sometimes I miss them terribly, and be able to see their faces and make a joke and see them laugh is awesome. It can't replace a hug or being together in person, but it can ease the heartache a little bit.
I am thankful for my two great little boys and my wonderful husband!
Fathers playing, or spending time with their children, especially their little princesses.
My favorite little thing other than CW? Carpooling with Janelynn, as she always brings me a cup of yummy coffee!
Last Thursday my cat tripped me up and I stumbled into furniture, bumping my toe. I am thankful that when a woman at work (who I hardly know) saw me limping on Friday, she insisted that I borrow a spare cane she had in her cubicle. It turns out my pinky toe is broken. I am amazed that such a little bump on a silly little toe can be so painful. But I am also extremely grateful for the kindness that Monica extended to me.
I am thankful for warm snuggles with my daughter
Loved today's post.
Of course Sunday Sweets is already one of my favorite things.
Thankful for my boys. My favorite little things.
These are all amazing, but mostly I want to know how the ice cream cake stays upright. Do you know? Can you tell me?
One "little thing" I'm thankful for is mittens. And those days when my kids miraculously wear theirs. Warm hands are awesome, mine and theirs.
I *love* that dragon!
I am thankful that my husband has a job...and that the job pays enough that we can go on a little vacation this week!!!
I am thankful for the people who love. Love the blog by the way it can always make me smile.
I've been doing this on my FB. :) I am thankful for time with my family! (The other day I was thankful for laughter, and linked Cake Wrecks.)
Puppy kisses when you come home from a tough day at work!
I'm grateful for my four cats, one of whom isn't little, and my husband who definitely isn't litte. My cats are the best kids I could have since I can't have children. It took me a while to deal with that and now I'm grateful because if I had children I couldn't have afforded to adopt the cats that kept finding me and needing a home.
My husband is Jess and my cats are (in order by age): Spike, Drusilla, Helo and Miho
Happy Thanksgiving
I love the first cake! So pretty!
The little thing I am thankful for today is the way my fiance reset his half of the radio presets in our truck to stations I like because he is deploying. It's silly but I think it's so sweet that he even thought about it.
Any post whose commentary can be sung is a win in my book.
As for what I'm thankful for: I'm thankful for my grandmother, who sacrificed her 'me time' to raise me when my parents gave up. I'm thankful for music for giving me a chance to escape when I need it. And mostly I'm thankful for my divorce for helping push me into a better relationship with my son.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
I'm thankful for my amazing mom who knows me well enough to buy me the bluray of "sound of music". I'm thankful for my dog, Gus, who is a rescue dog but in reality, rescues me everyday. and I'm so thankful for heat being included in my rent. as a Texan now living in Maine, I get cold and know my heater will be my best friend come winter!
I am thankful that I am still alive. I suffer from sever depression and frequently have suicidal thoughts. I am thankful for my friends that have stood by me.
The little thing for which I am thankful is not that little--I'm thankful for the ability to walk. I've had two surgeries this year, and now can walk, garden, cook. shop, and live freely. It's a blessing I never knew to count before!
I'm thankful for my "customers" who have put me over $4000 this year in my charity baking mission! My goal was to earn $3000 in 2011 for our local food pantry by baking for friends and family. :)
I am grateful for many things. Two that come to mind, fun blogs and spell-check.
The dragon left me with a big grin :D , and I hope to one day be thankful for WORLD PEACE!!! :D
Thankful for finally being strong enough to do pushups on my toes!
I'm thankful for the cousins who used to roam through the hills singing Sound of Music tunes with me and my brother. And who would also sing them in the movie theater with them.
I am thankful for the time that my new husband and I get to spend together....playing video games!
I am thankful for having found a vocation as a pastry chef apprentice that makes life adventurous and hopefully eventually will make other people's life happier with my cakes! I am a fan of the Awesome Blog - it would be great to win a copy in case it is open worldwide.
I love these!!
I am thankful for food on the table, a roof over my head, a job i love, and my family.
I followed my dreams, even if it wasn't the easy path
I'm with the most awesome partner in the world
I have the cutest, most adorable cat in the world.....KITTY!! NO!! GET DOWN FROM THERE!!!
Awesome.
I am thankful for libraries. Thankful for all the joy they provided for me growing up and thankful that I am able to work in one today.
I am Thankful for another year of health for my family. Mom is ill but this past year she has really kept steady.
One little thing I am thankful for is my nephew stepping up to cook thanksgiving dinner this year (at my house). It will be his first time cooking the turkey, making the green bean cassarole, and mashed potatoes. I haven't told him yet the dishwasher is broken. ;-)
I am thankful for my son.
Hylands teething gel. The baby slept last night and therefore so did I. Best stuff ever.
I'm thankful for my 2 yr. old and awesome hubby who works his tush off so I can stay home with our baby girl and the little one that's on the way! :)
Willow(age 2): "Ma-Ma... Open yours eyes"
While trying to pry open my eyelids with her tiny fingers first thing in the morning
I am thankful for my little boy. He makes me proud everyday, watching him tackle new skills head on and with the determination of 'The Little Engine That Could". Matty, you are my gift!
I'm so thankful for my daughter. She made me realize what I wanted to be when I grew up. Her rmom.
I'm forever thankful for my supportive husband who doesn't scold me when I procrastinate on my Master's thesis, rubs icy hot on my achy muscles, and cheers me on for every pound I lose along my journey. His love is the best blessing I could ever ask for.
The sound of my ASD/ADHD daughter's laughter when she gets a joke (and the sudden expression of comprehension and delight that accompanies it)
One of my favorite things is sitting by a fire in the fireplace (wood please) with a good book.
I'm thankful every day that my children are alive! Born at only 2 lbs each (twins), gifted both with disabilities and the strength to compensate for them, they are both now freshmen in college! Every new day is a gift to me.
