Cake Wrecks the Game Show?

Some cakes are like those ink blot tests you saw in grade school: baffling blobs of color open to interpretation. Well, not exactly; cakes are usually supposed to look like something in particular. Sometimes they taste better, too.
Anyway, since I've gotten a few of these "ink blot" type cakes submitted, I thought it'd be fun to add a little suspense to your daily dose of Wreckage. That's right, boys and girls, now it's time to play...
Everyone ready? Ok, clear your mind of all thoughts. Now, scroll down and tell me what you see:
"What's that? Ah, you see the moon cooking on the grill in a paper bag? [scribbling on notepad] Interesting, veeery interesting... [looking over glasses] And tell me, how IS your relationship with your mother?"
Check back tomorrow for the "answer": I'll post a picture of what the cake was supposed to look like. In the mean time, let's see who can come up with the most outrageous explanation. I may even post the top 3 guesses here, so bring on the funny, folks; fame and fortune await!*
Thanks to Dana W. for inspiring a brand new category! Oh, and Dana? Don't go giving away the answer just yet, k?
*By "fame" I mean a shout-out to your posting name, and "fortune" is used more in the "destiny" sense of the word than the "wealth or riches" sense. So in other words, no, you won't be getting any money*. Unless someone sends it to you, of course. But that someone would not be me. So probably not.
* Or begetting any money, either; 'cuz that'd just be weird. And wrong. But mostly weird.

Something to do with the Saints Football team, a rack of ribs, cartoon flames and a silver grill??
It looks like a Metroid.
How in the world did you guys get Super Dome from this? I saw the football helmets and numbers, but could not connect the rest of the cake with this until I read the comments here. THEN I counted the yard lines, and decided maybe this was a football field, but in no way can I see any sort of "dome".
It looks like a salmon steak on a grill for a football tailgate. Not quite sure what the fleur-de-lis is for....
Football? No way! I think that's a royal insignia. This cake is clearly the crown of Princess Pimento, from the Kingdom of the Royal Striped and Stuffed Olives.
I'm gonna say that its someone's Eagle project from Boys Scouts.
alright, now, i know it's the superdome. but i swear it looked like a casket full of snow (for a saints fan, of course) when i first saw it.
Well, honestly, if you lived in New Orleans before the Superdome was refurbished, it really was that ugly.
When I first looked at it, I thought it was a bunch of cockroaches carrying a chunk of bloody flesh.
Upon closer inspection, those cockroaches appeared to be football helmets. Oh well. I have terrible vision.
Looks like Elphaba's book of spells from "Wicked" to me!
I am afraid to say...is it a football stadium with a dome cover? Or an very bad accident and a memorial to the players involved?
I think it's a lavishly decorated coffin with football players for the pall bearers.
I was going to guess some sort of hamburger, but then I noticed the little football helmets, so now I'm going to guess that it's the Superdome with the fleur de lis logo on it.
I feel especially creepy, because I thought it was an open casket at a football player's funeral.
It's a Foreman grill eating a Boy Scout uniform, of course.
It's gotta be the Saints' home stadium, but wow ...
I think it looks like an accordian.... the red lines show the divisions between the white keys, and those yellow lines look like they're supposed to be the black keys. Plus, there's the round numbered buttons. Don't know why the fleur de lis is on there though.... maybe the accordian player is french?
I was going to say it's a French leprechaun's pot at the end of the rainbow on a cloudy day but the football helmet kind of threw me off, so I'm going to go with a Cajun leprechaun's pot of stone soup that he's serving at his Monday Night football party.
I think it looks like a French pirate ship with a big sail and little paddles in the water with a big gray moon behind the sail.
I know Halloween is coming up soon, and I am really scared. What kind of bloody tombstone is that and the little beatle type thingies give me the creeps. What is going on here, is a horror themed cake..... worse than any nightmare. Like some one died in bed in france and the beatles are coming....
I think I know what it is now, but it looks like lips being cooked on a steak with a rock smushing them down, sealed with a creepy brand.
Looks like a king-sized bed but with quickly (and efficiently) retreating bedbugs.
I'm guessing the Saint's stadium.
I really hope that my Texas Stadium cake doesn't get messed up in a few weeks :(
I see a couch being carried away by a swarm of junebugs.
I know what it's supposed to be, however I personally think it looks like an animal carcas ala Discovery Channel or Wild Kingdom.
Seriously, though, it looks like the moon fell on a woman in an ugly tie-died shirt and a way small miniskirt with freaky fringe on the bottom. You could probably find that outfit about five blocks away from the superdome.
I saw a couch from the sixties being lifted by the Saints football team.
Well, obviously this cake represents the back of a bald alien's head, a bit clueless, wearing a crown like a bandana and an Oxford shirt with some serious ring around the collar which has been infested by striped cucumber beetles.
Good lord, is the Superdome on fire?!?!
My first thought was fish, too, but I have no idea how the little football helmets fit in with that....
It looks like a fireplace.
I think it is New Orleans Saints football related. I could only tell because of the emblem in the middle, and the little brown turds on the outside that somewhat resemble the husband toting past time.
I think it is a creepy Jesus surrounded by disturbed and entranced children in the woods, with a sexually suggestive and grammatically incorrect inscription.
Lightstick-Rave-n-Mud-Wrasslin' night over at the Superdome?
It looks like the New Orleans Superdome on LSD to me.
A couch made out of a salmon filet with an overcooked steak footrest, I think.
Why it is numerous thick slabs of bacon in various states of decay, atop a bed of decapitated football players' heads. All approved by an offical seal.
I seriously thought it was a fire place.
It's a mass grave for some really unfortunate football players.
C'mon. It's quite obviously a U.F.O. (unidentified french object) hovering over a field of seared eggplant and little boll weevils that someone has cleverly attempted to protect with football helmets. Or, you know, the Superdome.
I thought it was a coffin!!! How sad!!
Thanks to everybody for spoiling the suspense...
Before i looked at any comments I would have said it was a football team that's been crushed by a giant, falling, French-imitation-of -a-hamburger. You can tell its French by the fleur de lis and the artful use of condiments. They didn't quite get the 'sandwich' concept right though, or maybe the other bun just got lost in space.
It looks like a layered fire; log on the bottom, fire in the middle and that gray stuff is smoke. The black design in the "fire" is the end of the fire-poker that fell in. Am I close??? ha ha
My first reaction was actually that it was a guillotine; the fleur-de-lis for France and its royalty, all the heads around the side, and something that looked like it was supposed to be flesh colored...
The football stadium probably makes more sense.
Someone call the exterminator! A swarm of beetles is carting off the pot roast dinner, complete with mashed potatoes and carrots!
I too am guessing the Superdome, although that's a horrible likeness of it.
It's either the inside of a fireplace (log with fire) or a hot dog.
It's the Superdome in New Orleans pre-Katrina when the Saints were really, really bad. Almost as bad as this cake.
Holly Christensen
A rock, on top of a a French hot dog bun (lots of ketchup, easy on the mustard), on top of a NY Strip. With a raisinette border for aesthetic value.
Huh? I just read a few of the comments and have no idea how most people seem to see a football stadium.
My first guess was someone's impression of a piano. Someone who got confused about the relation of the black keys to the white keys and decided to add nobbly bits (many pedals?) for decorative purposes. But I still see a piano.
