A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.
Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

Yay! I hoped Wooldemort would make the list!
Awwwwww!! I think he's kinda cute in a creepy way (poor li'l guy!)
I can't decide which is handsomer...I guess it will have to be a toss (salad) up.
=^e.e^=
Those first two cakes are awesome!
But what happened to the third one?
Four ears on a sheep? And just for "dumb questions sake", has the decorator ever SEEN a sheep?
Wait a second... I think I've heard of this guy.
"He who must not be sheared"?
(Nice salad, anyway.....how nice of ewe.)
=^-.-^=
That cake is creeptastic + creepier than the Dark Lord. And I really mean that! 👹😨
I rather like that Sheep - it made me laugh - and in a good way. Not TOO wrecky.
Were there more cakes that got deleted, or something? (Judging from some of the posts.)
Anyway, I was wondering if the cake was supposed to be of the counting sheep from the mattress commercial (but came out looking absolutely sinister!). If so, that sheep would give me nightmares, not sweet dreams!
Also, @sendingthe clowns, bwah ha ha ha ha! "He who must not be sheared!"
@Lady Anne: 1 pair are the sheep's actual ears, 1 pair are clearly the sort of "fuzzy animal ear headband" a lot of kids, including mine, wear around various holidays. Now those teeth and WHY the decorator felt it a good idea to have the "sheep" wear extra ears is anybody's guess, but THAT detail is okay...sort of.
CAN'T. UNSEE. MUST. GET. BRAIN. BLEACH.
LOL@ Rosie's post.
Rosie - the first two aren't cakes; they're images of the characters.
But I have to admit, the detail on that sheep cake is... unnerving, to say the least.
I think that sheep thing has rabbit ears on, making it four eared.
AVADA KEDABAAAAAAA (Credit to my 24 year old son for this)
#Lady Anne, we're seeing four ears because this cake is supposed to represent a sheep with bunny ears tied around its head. See the yellow ribbon tied in a bow at the bottom right? Still hideous, though.
That is the stuff of nightmares. 🤣
I will now have nightmares for the rest of my life...!
Might have to come up with a new movie title after seeing this monstrosity - "Silenced by the Lambs".
But WHY is Wooldemort wearing bunny ears?
What is that thing? Lol oh man..
Yup, MUCH scarier than the bleeding lamb cakes.
The teeth are bad...the eyes are bad, the grass is sad.....but what really got to me was the boils on body. Boiled wool??? (yes, I felt that one, too).
It looks like Voldemort and Dobby had a love sheep.
I'm pretty sure that the cake-sheep is actually a VERY good representation of a sheep-thing from a video game or something. I'm sure I've seen it before, I just can't place exactly where or in what context I've seen it.
Shaun the Sheep of the Dead.
Shaun the sheGAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Take it away! Take it back! DO NOT WANT!!!!
This sheep would give anyone BAAAAAD dreams! The teeth alone...yikes.
I just wanted to say "So long, and thanks for all the fish." And "We're all counting on you."
And "He's been mostly dead all day."
You and Hubby are hilarious. Don't stop. (til you get enough).
"For death awaits you all! With nasty big pointy teeth!"
Actually, I think someone made the sheep look dark lordish...
