GET A GRIP, MIKAYLA'S MOM

Ahh, children's birthday parties. The balloons, the games, the judgey parents inspecting your hand towels - and of course, the enormous icing phallus on little Mikayla's cake:
Talk about the elephant in the room! I guess the rest of him is invisible.
Thanks to Freda for taking us down the path of snickers and knowing glances. Now SHHHH, before the kids start asking questions.

Are we sure this wasn't a bridal shower gag cake? ;)
I must be off my game today -- I didn't even notice the phallus until you mentioned it. I was too busy wondering why a pony had made a print on the cake. Then, after i read your comment, I wondered why a pony stomped on that guy's schlong.
What's that, a boomerang?
To quote Steve Martin's character from a SNL skit, "What the hell is it?"(besides the obvious)
If not a giant peen, what else was this supposed to be? The flowers make it look festive.
OK, I give up. What was it SUPPOSED to be?!
Like, what's it SUPPOSED to be?
Nice to see a Picard image that isn't a facepalm.
Tsk, tsk, tsk! Don't you know what the tree that falls in the forest and doesn't make a sound looks like? It even has an initial carved in it. Get your mind out of the gutter. (Goes on his merry way, whistling).
Bwahahahaha! Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow the browny brick d**g!
So what was it supposed to be? A path?
I don't... what the.... I mean...
I can't even think of what that was supposed to be.
All I see is a giant phallus with... foliage (?) growing on it.
I'll never be the same. Thanks, Mikayla's Mom.
When I was a decorator, sometimes the cake box lid would ruin the cake if it had toys on top, so we would score lines for the parents to know where to set the toys once they got the cake home.....but WOW, this decorator knew what he/she was doing ;) The customer was probably the not-so-nice type! :-D
Okay, I give up -- what was it SUPPOSED to be? I cannot get my head around what Mikayla's mom could have ordered that could end up like *that*.
It was funny anyway, but the Picard GIF won the internets.
It's a Princess Sophia cake that they took the toys off of before taking the picture. I recognize it :)

The path is supposed to be yellow.....
WHAT THE HELL was that even SUPPOSED to be be? SMH.
Schwinggg!
Thanks for telling me what it is supposed to be! I am not in the princess loop these days!
Only teens and adults see a wiener. A 2-year-old would most likely only see a dirt road. You're safe (for now).
@ Laura
Ok, but that still doesnt explain *why* they took the toys off before the pic. Unless they werent intending on taking a pic, took the toys off to eat the cake and went "holy cow, that looks like a giant brown.." and then absolutely had to take a pic for posterity.
Your photo appears to have been taken after the mohel made a visit.
The path to happiness? ;-)
On a different note, I am happy to say that (now 88 yrs young) Lady Olenna will be attending Dragoncon again this year. She and her handmaiden would like to meet up with you if possible as she has gifts to bestow. Let me know.
[Editor's note- YAY! That's so awesome. We'll definitely see you there and I'll make sure Jen gets in touch with you. :) -john]
What the heck is this supposed to be??? Laughing too hard to even try and figure this out lol.
I recognize the design. It was a Decopac Sophia the first cake with the crappy plastic castle in the back and the Sophia figure in the front that left the marks. It's still funny, but cakes always look weird after you take the figures off. I probably wouldn't have used that fleshy color for the road either. XD

In the fourth example available the path is the same dirt brown as the cake - sans plastic - shown here. Another bit of plastic was stuck in the green frosting in the upper right quadrant. Indeed, if the plastic had not been removed, this would not be posted as a Cake Wreck at all, since it is otherwise well done with no misspellings :-)
