What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

A Tail Of WHOA

CW reader Eric ordered a "pin the tail on the donkey" cake for his twin girls' fourth birthday party.

They got this:

So many jokes, so little time.
Let's just stick with: OUCH.

Thanks to Eric T. for the hee-haws.

You have to wonder if that was intentional. So wrong though!

This must be an advertisement for the new Nintendo game, Donkey Dong. It's rated "I" for Immature.

One thing about this cake, if the wreckerator is this bad about anatomy, we probably don't have to worry about him making any more wreckerators.

That not a tail (or a wang). That's what's left of the umbilical cord from birth.
