Directionally Challenged

What happened to these wrecks?
I'LL NEVER TELL.
But I bet you can figure it out.
:D
And now, your wrecky moment of Zen:
Dawn actually wanted a cake wreck for her friend's birthday, so she asked her bakery to misspell the name and write, "Hearts and sprinkles" on the edges - but with NO hearts or sprinkles on the cake. Instead, what did she get?
"Hearts and Sprinkles! They even spelled Lindsey's name right!," Dawn writes. "That should tell you just how rare and wonderful it is to get a Cake Wreck. You can't even order them!"
Nice try, Dawn, but this just goes to show: a determined wrecker can even wreck a wreck.
Thanks to Denise B., Jen J., Jennifer S., Lindsay F., Sarah F., Make A., and Dawn O. on top and underneat that, a big smiley face.

They really messed up on the "A 10" piece. They forgot the "on one" after it! ;)
Write a10 on one? I guess I don't even know what the buyer wanted.
Best blog ever!
Is a non wrecky cake a wreck if the customer wanted a wreck? Is it wreckception?? :D
Can I wax philosophical here? To me, it's a sad commentary on the state of society when folks don't even use common sense when "attempting" to follow directions. You'd think they'd know they're messing up or at least have the decency to ask questions if they don't understand. Are these the same people that all the lengthy warnings on products have been made for? Has common sense gone the way of the dinosaur?
But here's the scary thought. These people walk among us, are given licenses to drive, they get to vote and they also breed. Be afraid. Be very afraid!
To be fair, there's no space in "a10" on the slip. Did the customer write that?
Mike, I’ll say to you what someone said to me. Common sense is far from common. Don’t despair. I’d wager most of the people who love Jen (and John thoJ) and her blog have at least a little common sense. If only more of us worked as cake decorators. No wait. I take that back because then we might not have Cakewreaks and that would be terrible!
The last one was gorgeous. But they can even wreck a wreck so that tells me wreckerators are evil lol even when you order a wreck they still do the opposite of what you want.
@Biffster - well said.
Green & yellow "Mike" just couldn't tell if he was coming or going.
The wrecked beauties could be a whole new genre of wreckitude...
Thing is, we wouldn't know.
=^-.-^=
We all know how much better Mike's cake would have been if it had said "Happy Biuthday" and THEN "Farwell/Wecome." Duh.
