"Timmy" has all the letters....the *baker* just tried to be artistic and put the i upside down...and beneath the name...and not in a pretty way....I got nuthin on the "congram" though....
"Stiv-FEN": Is he related to "Stephan" from SNL?? (The hottest club is Tmmy-Richel! It's got everything...)
LOL And I guess poor Jiim should have stuck to Hot Pockets...
This wasn't ever on a cake but it was printed in the newspaper. I grew up in the same small town that I live in now. You could submit names to be printed in the daily evening local newspaper to celebrate a birthday. My friend, Tauna, had her name submitted. It was printed as "Tuna". She was simply mortified. And these cakes made me remember that. I still think she would hate it if I brought it up 35 years later.
I'm pretty sure Thrisa was supposed to be Theresa. Because that's my name, and I've seen this version before.
As for the other three in the group, here are my guesses:
Meagary: Marjorie
Amothy: Anthony
Jonh: John or Jonah
As for TMMY: That's TIMMY. His second letter just dropped into the row below.

Parikshit is a real name, an India-Indian name. The important thing to remember is that there is NO hyphen.
And also, if this is an American cake, shame on poor Parikshit's parents for subjecting him to a lifetime of mortification and therapy bills! (This is why my son is named Rohan- a nice, pronounceable Indian name with bonus LOTR cred). :)

Sharyn and Haiku joy BAHAHAHAHA :D. I wonder if some of those are handwriting errors. Some people have terrible writing, and couple that with some stupid name spellings out there, this is not a surprise.
Well kids -- today is MY birthday! To avoid any wreckiness I requested PIE! It was yummy (my coworkers made me two and we just had some) and there was no writing and no misspelling.
Today's post reminds me of when we ordered a birthday cake from a local bakery for our friend Jeanne (pronounced like "Jeannie.") When we opened the box we were greeted with "Happy Birthday Juana!"
We still laugh at that, years later. In fact, it's what made me find CakeWrecks in the first place. Wish I'd taken a picture to submit here.

I've had this happen! Ordered a cake for my husbands 40th birthday. My name is Christy but I asked for the cake to say Happy 40th Preston. What we got said Happy Birthday Chresty '40'. We decided the baker was going for a celebrity style hybrid name so just had a good laugh. Cake tasted good anyway.
Now I have the Muppets and ABBA battling it out for supremacy in my head. This is going to be a fun afternoon. Thanks Jennizzle and Sharyn.

Upon seeing "Amothy" I immediately thought of the scene in "Mean Girls" when Tim Meadows (playing the Principal) says " I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee". Ha!
To be fair, if any of the names shown above showed up on my class roster next term, I wouldn't blink except maybe for Hell, though I still wouldn't question it. I have and have had students with much odder names and these, and I'm not even including foreign-born students!
@Deepa: good for you! My hubby is from another country and I told him we would immediately dismiss his father's name of "Hein" as a potential baby name. I loved my FIL, but I also love my children too much to subject them to a life of being called "Hiney"!
My name is Michelle, nicknamed "Shell." When my cousin was little he had a speech impediment and couldn't pronounce the letter "S." I was known as "Hell" on that side of the family for a while!

After working in social service for several years I would not be surprised to learn that any or all of the names are spelled as the parent named the celebrant.
I believe John Travolta did some of these cakes!
I think I rather like the name "Amothy"... not that I'd inflict it on an actual child, but it would be great as a character name in a story. "Meagary" could work that way too... Poor Hal is out of luck with his new nickname, though!

Phew still none with my name lol. I liked the Batman cake.. but I feel sorry for the poor person whose name was horribly misspelled. Wow.
The scary thing is is that some of these names might not even be misspellings. There are people in the world cruel enough to give their children such names. My best friend Sevrina (itself rather an odd name) has two cousins named Destany (yes, with an "a") and Tassis. And my sister works in child support enforcement; they get some pretty weird names.
