I will never stop being amazed at what Don can do with just buttercream - NEVER. (Yes, that's all icing!) Think you can't have a show-stopping sculpted cake without fondant? Then hit that link up there and go see more of Don's work - but hang on to your socks.

Just when I think it couldn't get any cuter, here comes that knight and dragon. Each cake really is cuter than the last. Growing up, my favorite of my mom's cookbooks was a primer on making cute cakes with candy. I must have this book!

I grinned at the minions (how did they make that strap do that??), and d'awwed at the Pooh, but the real cute overload happened with the penguins. Yes Jen, I sniffled at the cute. And then I had to go hug something.

Whenever I am feeling down, this site has always cheered me up. It has been a rough year and a half for my family. My young son had cancer, we lost our house in a fire (along with all my cake decorating supplies). Whenever I was in tears. I came here to laugh at the absurb cake decorations, or to ooh and ahh over the Sunday Sweets. It is truly one of the best websites that I have visited.
I want a Minion cake every day! Heck, I'm turning 41 in 10 days, and I would be happy to have any (OR ALL!!!) of the above for my birthday. ;-)
My son loved the minions cake (and by the way, he also loves steak). Therefore, he appropriately named his large stuffed minion toy, "Fillet Minion"...get it?? Lol
LOVE the Minions!!! The little knight and dragon are super precious, too. Aaaaaand, of course... I absolutely need that book. ;)
I love that Tigger! But the first dragon cake is my fave...the dragon, the colors, freakin' adorable! The robot on the book cover is too cool! I obviously need to work on my creativity with cake decoration!

I love Cake Wrecks! My husband doesn't think I have much of a sense of humor, but your site finds it! I will laugh out loud (!), and my husband has to come see what's so funny. And I enjoy the Sunday Sweets - they are awe-inspiring.

The dragon on that first cake is Draco. He's from a show called Draco on Baby TV, which my little nephew loves. He is a very very cute dragon and behaves just like a toddler. I think there's a few clips on youtube.
