Special Saturday Video: A Wreck Odd-To-See

The other day "devoted Wreckie" Roger H. sent me one of those videos. You know, the ones that first make you giggle, and then wince, and then cringe back in horror, and then start laughing because omigosh this is so bad, and then you go get your husband and make him watch it, whereupon you discover it's even more hysterical the second time through.
Needless to say, I knew Roger's creation was something special. Something that had to be shared. Something that I dare you to watch all the way through with the volume up.
"Enjoy."

Omg the first time it built up to the "dah duh" and that green monster cake came up, I LOST it. Laughed through the entire rest of it. Had to watch it again just to see the rest! Aw(ful) esome!
Ouch, my ears still hurt. The music definitely matches the cakes.
BWAhahahahaha!!! That was genious.
Oh my heavens, that was my son's sixth grade band concert, only better! I still remember sitting there with my daughter trying desperately to stifle our hysterical laughter as they turned "La Bamba" into a dirge. Since we both have excellent pitch, too, we had to laugh or else we'd have run screaming from the auditorium. The cakes in the video were just the perfect addition to that brilliant music!
OK, that music: Played that way intentionally, or not?
Wow, that was gruesome. And hilarious. Grue-larious.
I love the Portsmouth Sinfonia! They were the first truly egalitarian orchestra. They didn't discriminate on the basis of race, gender, or age. And most especially, they didn't discriminate on the basis of ability. Anybody could join, regardless of talent or knowledge of how to play an instrument.
They performed back in the 70's so that's not simulated vinyl noise, it's the real thing. There's lots of their "music" available on YouTube, if you can stand to listen.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha *thunk* (falls off chair) teeheeehteee ahahahahaha (still on floor laughing, tears rolling down face) ahahahahahteeheeteehahahahteeheehahah. . . . .
If you live in Melbourne, Australia and have no musical ability but would like to contribute to this kind of joyous sound, try these guys...

Everyone else, as Douglas Adams would say, "The secret is to bang the rocks together, guys!"
That was....horrendous. And it makes me grateful I teach piano, and never had to learn to play a trumpet. OUCH.
"2001" is my Vulcan's favourite movie, ASZ is one of his favourite pieces of music, and he is sleeping blissfully right now, dreaming about sleeping in late and being a toasty warm cinnamon bun on his extra day off... and he is SO waking up to this at FULL BLAST in a few hours. He's been under my feet all weekend and working my LAST nerve, and you know what they say about Klingons and revenge. ;)

sendingtheclowns, My brother went to the Naval Academy, so presumably their drum and bugle corps was pretty good, but he still called/calls it "Bum and bungle corps."
Ok, from now on I WILL check Cake Wrecks every Saturday! Everyone's said it already, but here's my take...
---->*O*U*C*H!!!! As a survivor of high school band, O...M...G!!!! Worst trumpets I've ever heard!!! But very, very, VERY FUNNY!!!
Though, I am *somewhat* surprised that this does not meet Theardare's standards...Somewhat, because I have *personally* experienced Theardare's high standards for Room 101's auditory input. This song is painful but not as painful as Rm 101 was! I still don't dare to think about it lest....AT THE COPA...CO-PA-CA-BA-NA..... AAAAIIIGHGHHH!!!! [blink-blink...] Oh, was I screaming? Never mind...
...I think that Dalek belongs in the Dalek Asylum. Right before it goes BOOM!
I laughed, I cried, I wet my pants!
DUM - DUM - DUM - DUM = I WANT SPRIN KLES!!
Hilarious!!! Love it!!
That was hillarious and painful at the same time!!!
UPDATE: As soon as I heard The Vulcan start to stir, I cued up the video. I timed it so that as he walked out of the bathroom and into the living room, the first dissonant "DA-DAAAAAA!" went off. He never knew what hit him, my revenge was served so VERY cold.
Your Pal,
Storm
