WYSINWYG

What you see...
...is NOT what you get.
(Change the "ride" to "wreck," and you've got a deal.)
From wedding tiers of roses...
Ooooooh. Drippy.
To rows of wedding tears:
Hershey's Syrup:
You're doing it wrong.
Here's a little Disney magic for you:
Bippity, Boppity...
BOO!
Ah, but that's nothing. Want to see something REALLY wild?
This is what happens when animal print cakes feel blue:
And also kind of intestine-y.
Thanks to Jessica W., Diana B., Gina L., & Leighanne G. for the excuse to use "intestine-y." I've been holding on to that one for YEARS.

Well at least for the first they added a heart on "Ride". I mean, that makes up for the rest entirely.
*facepalm*
I think, as a professional (and never before been featured on this website as a Wreck... :) ) caker, it appears that the last cake is actually not fondant, but is a "crusting" buttercreme (another name for yucky shortening frosting that has little to no actual butter in it) that was piped on haphazardly and then, when crusted over, squished down with a finger.
I could be wrong, but I don't think so. :)
Shortening frosting? Why does that even exist? Now I'm going to have to add a 'forget concept' setting to the Unsee Machine...
Actually, I agree that's "butter" cream and it looks like it wasn't piped on with a tip- just put into a parchment triangle, the end was snipped off and awaaaaay they went. I still think they did a nice job of trying to get the shapes to be similar. (Really)
@Craig- just get the dang Unsee bit done first, will ya??
You know.... sometimes your cheapest option is NOT the best buy! It is funny to me that people tell me they love my cakes and then cancel the order because they found someone cheaper. Good luck with that and I'll see ya on Cake Wrecks!
Is Alipaige really a name? It sounds like a medieval disease.
As much as I cringe at these, I will give snaps to the decorator of the "Ride with me" cake. At least they spelled everything correctly!!
The cake that the last one was originally supposed to look like was so adorable!
The "Alipaige" cake looks like Play-doh, and just scrolling I see a lot of people saw the same thing. And why can't people seem to be able to handle the sharp edge on the round layers? Too much fondant? They all look like bowler hats.
