"Celebrating" National Headache Week
Thanks to Rana Z., Stacy H., Brooke P., Cheyenne W., Shaelyn, Vanessa N., Heather H., & A.H., who can't believe that anyone would ever misspell professional. I mean, that's just crazy, right? [sheepish grin]

You need a book of your stick figures.
1) This cake is obviously to celebrate Tarzan and Jane's new arrival. And we can't expect Tarzan to have good grammar, can we? After all, he was raised by apes.
2) It's obvious the baker didn't finish high school, or at least flunked English.
3) I want to know what's before gant and what's after gant.
4) John, you shouldn't pick on this poor baker. It was obviously done by his cat, Sylvester.
5) I don't see what the problem is here. This just looks like we're going back in time in jolly, old England. Valic was probably just one of the Victorian offshoots.
6) If we're getting rid of H's, why doesn't it just say "Tank You"?
7) Maybe "professional" felt left out because "office" and "staff" each have double "f's". And if an "f" had to be added, the "s" had to go.
8) Maybe dencer's of a feather flock togeather.
John, I feal yore pane. Its lyke fingernales on chaucbord,, ain't it?
Hahahahahaha!!! I love it when John posts! And the cartoon of Jen holding a cat at the end was perfect! Thanks!
The best part is the kitten clinging to you! A kitten "brooch" if you will. Then, the best cake... "valicvictorian." I mean, why not? Can many of us really spell the correct word? Or even say it right? Most people say it with two Vs, when it's really a D, as in Dick!
Awww! Luv the drawing of Jen & Kiity :^)
Remember, wreckerators: There is no spell check for icing!
That's the most 'creative' way I have ever seen valedictorian spelled.
Vala-victor-victoria-iousness. Good gad, who knew there were so many alternative punctuation and spelling possibilities?
"Gunnar"?
"You need a book of your stick figures." I second this suggestion.
Is that Evangeline?
@Lisa: “Valedictorian. V-A-L-E-D-I-C-T-O-R-I-A-N. Valedictorian. Would you like me to use it in a sentence?” Never doubt a spelling champion. We have long memories.
Dencing Togeather ... it actually sounds OK if you say it with a Sarf Efrican Eccent.
And lookit who makes her CW debut! Or should that be daybuuu?!
I'm wondering what 'pre-gant' is.... still.wondering.
Good ones John. Love the little kitteh holding onto Jen!
Obviously cake #1 was announcing Tarzan and Jane's son Boy.
OK so maybe it's because I only got two hours of sleep last night but the last panel actually made me tear up because Jen is holding a kitten. So happy the new kitty kiddies found you.
What boggles my mind is how the same person can misspell "dancing", yet draw a shockingly accurate rendition of a treble clef. I've been involved in music of the classical variety for most of my life, and it took me until about halfway through a degree in it to get those right!
Love this. I like that you included the cat in the last panel. I'm hardly surprised at these sort of wrecks after reading this blog. :)
Welcome back, john(thoJ)! Sorry about your head.
I am laughing and happen to have a headache so this fits right now. My brain can't even begin to figure out who does these things without spellchecking them first? Lol.
The posts today are particularly hilarious!!! Thanks for the laughs!!!
A long, long time ago, on a television far, far away...
There was a television show called "Liquid Television." It was a half-hour of short bits, and included such gems as "Beavis and Butt-head," "Psycho-Gram," "The Art School Girls of Doom," and "Miss Lidia's Makeover to the Stars." ("Remember, the better you look, the more you'll see!" --Miss Lidia).
Your drawings remind me "Stick Figure Theater." But yours are funnier.
“Dencing” is just the way my Polish grandma pronounced “dancing”! And how else would they dance if not “togeather”? Did one of gunnar’s Classmates inscribe his cake? - I’m sorry about your headache, John.
That pregant(pregank?) cake makes me want a cake for every Yahoo Answers entry quoted in the hilarious "...PREGANANANT???" video.
Interestingly, your Cake Wrecks for National Headache Week was posted on Election Day in a lot of states.
Coincidence? I think not.
