What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

The Wayward Pupil

I dare you to play "I Spy" with your kids on this one:

"I spy...with my one little...AAAUUGGHH!!"

Thanks to Lori P. for bringing a whole new meaning to "a wandering eye."

And also for making Number1 laugh for like five minutes straight.

The only jarring part is that left eye of hers, and like others, I didn't notice it at first. In fact it would have been better left out, since it would give it a "left eye in shadow" effect even with her right eye.

It's a perfectly nice-looking job otherwise.

Reminds me a little of one, Mr. Brian Peppers (sorry to bring this back, but I had to):

Poor poor Alice. Looks like one eye just doesn't want to stay put. Glasses couldn't even fix that lol. At least they managed to spell birthday correctly so that's something, right?

I had to scroll back up and look at the eye and after my pure terror finally went away, I realized that Alice is related to Voldemort - the lifestyles of the young and the noseless.

OMG it's a wall-eyed Alice! Every time I look at it I commence to giggling.

I've been trying to suppress laughter for several minutes now. First it was the picture, then there were the comments, and then I discovered the joy of Haiku Joy! Still struggling with laughter though. Goodbye, spleen.
