Sweet, Sweet Irony
Sure, simple cake goofs and misspellings are fairly common. Sometimes they just result in more hilarity than usual.
How about misspelling your correction of a misspelling?
Ouch. Nothin' like messing up a good rant over the fact that someone else messed up, is there? (And yes, I *do* know that from personal experience. Heh.)
Taking team unity to a whooole new level.

This is true, BUT.
They make dictionaries for a reason, and for a JOB writing on cakes, the paying customers should be able to expect that the inscriptions will at least be spelled correctly!
Hav a grate dae!

Hahaha! Might as well say ‘We am the greatest!’
Brilliant blog, really funny, I’m glad I stumbled across it.
This is from Wikipedia under Patriot Day "In addition to observing a moment of silence it has now become tradition in many local government buildings to celebrate Patriot Day by dressing in Red, White and Blue and serving snacks and refreshments." So I guess the cake would be totally kosher. (eyeroll)
And here I was positive it said "Congratulations Team Vivamelt". A Spanish version of Velveeta I suppose?
That first one is just so so so horrible- the dohnut holes- remind me of just some really horrid moments of 9/11, with the plastic baggies. It would be much much better if they were blue and white!
Okay, now I understand more behind the first cake. I know absolutely NOTHING about these fund raisers so the concept was completely beyond my grasp. I was connecting a "team" with organized sports like baseball, basketball, etc.
My mother died of breast cancer 20 years ago. To be honest, I find the whole "pink ribbon" thing mildly revolting. There's nothing "pink" at all about breast cancer. It's a vicious disease. I'm all in favor of raising support, etc., but sometimes I think the pink merely softens the reality of such a devastating situation.
hey, ASU is top tier school now. But, being apart of Barrett, I am embarrassed.
I think the 'something' was on purpose -- like the person could "work something," like a pole, better. Maybe??
That Barrett cake was definitely on the front page of the school newspaper when that happened. Did I mention Barrett is the honors college at Arizona State?
I love my school, but I'm so glad someone sent that in to you.
That last cake was clearly made by an Ayn Rand fan trying to spread Objectivism... right?
Holy misreading! I read the breast cancer cake as: Congratulations team Uvula! "you can die"
I think the pink ribbon cake is for a team that walked in the 3-day breast cancer walk.
WE ARE THE CHAMPION. YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED.
