What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

Sox It To 'Em

Eileen's hubby Ralph is a big Red Sox fan, so she asked the bakery to put that on his birthday cake.

And just to be safe, she reminded them that "Red Sox" is spelled with an x.

(Can you guess where this is going?)

NAILED IT.

You can always trust Peter Venkman to put into facial expressions what you can't.

Thanks to Eileen P., and hairless pets. WEIRD.

This cake sucxs! This baker had rocxs in his head, and deserves a few whacxs upside it.

We have to stop these bakers from breeding. Next thing you know, they'll be butchering things everywhere, and we'll be eating Rice, Corn and Wheat checxs, witches will be hecxsing people and secxs education will be taught in the schools, and we'll be reading Focxs in Socxs to our grandchildren.

I had a feeling they would do that they must really hate the Red Sox.
