What's a Wreck?
A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

The texture and colour make it look a little like the kid tripped over (or is birthing) a plucked chicken.
I'm not sure that a wheelbarrow is big enough. LOL
John (thoj), In the first frame, you created an 'illusion' actually. took me a moment to realize it wasn't a third arm/hand holding up your Master Baker mug. Am I the only one who see's the eye trickery here? Or am I just that wrecked myself. LOVE these cartoons John, you should have your own comic feature in the papers!

I do love me some Flight of the Conchords. Miss those guys (although they've been doing some great stuff since their show).
Tilts head sideways at pictures...Watches video, brow furrowed...Sowly picks up jaw off floor...Bemusedly processes entire experience...Shakes head to dislodge earworm...Definitely the highlight of my day.
(Correction: Second best part of the day. The best part was writing up everyone in Ashley M's department and informing them that there will be a "sugar lumps sensitivity" training session forthcoming.)

And it's sad/scary I wasted too much time trying to read the cartoon coffee mug....I swore it was Master-Bater before I figured out it really says baker😚
I for sure thought it was a very dirty diaper judging from the look of sheer terror on that poor teddy bear lol. Never thought it could be something else lol.

Apart from how wrecky those cakes often are, I just don't get it. Baby feet and (full-looking) diapers don't look cute or appetizing to me, it's all the opposite. Why do we find them on so many cakes...
