What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

The Mighty Morphin' Tee Wrecks

Pro Tip: If you ever want a printed image on your cake, be very careful with the kind of reference you bring for the baker to scan in.

Well, shirt.

Yep, it turns out Sean's friends were hoping for more of a... sunglasses.. cropped top. This definitely put a wrinkle in their plans, but that's what you get when you order off the cuff. Besides, I'm sure they can collar the pasty perp, easy-sleevesy.

CASE CLOTHES'D.

(Or should it be cake clothes'd? ;))

Thanks to Sean M. for Power Rangering through.

I’m trying to figure out if that’s an image, or if they put the real shirt on the cake...

Wrecky either way!

I won't be shocked if they tried baking the shirt with the cake the next time someone wants one lol. Then I will laugh til I fall off my chair. It has happened before lol.

It could be worse - the baker could've tried to actually draw the Power Rangers.
