Flakes Welcome

"Hi, I'd like a cake, please, and could you put a 'happy birthday' plaque on it?"
"No, no, I mean one of those plastic things on a spike - you know, a 'happy birthday' pick?"
"Maybe we should start over."
"Could you write, 'Over the Hill' or 'Officially OLD' or something like that? This is for my husband, so it's ok if it's borderline rude."*
"What the...? What is WRONG with you people? Look, my husband usually gets pie for his birthday, so I promised him that THIS year he'd get a REAL birthday cake..."
"I WASN'T FINISHED."
"But wow, you guys are fast."
[rubbing temples] "Look, I give up. Could you just give me a cake - any cake? No writing. Just grab one out of the case and hand it to me. Please."
"Which one? Oh, I don't care...how about the one with the chocolate flakes on it? Yes, that one. Yes, the flake. Thank you."
Oh, like you didn't see THAT coming.

I think Angela R will be celebrating with PIE from now on. LOL
Is this another one for the Literal LOLs file?
Did anyone see the tv show Superstore Monday nite? The manager is trying to order a cake and the baker worker doesn't speak English and is writing everything down phonetically. basically they end up with two full sheet cakes of literal babbling just like these cakes!
Ye gods and little fishes! NO... don't put that on a CAKE!
It's a win-win. She wanted something borderline rude so she has a cake with "Flake" written on it. If she actually calls him a flake once in a while, he will feel so special.
The "flake" cake is actually covered in a candy bar from england called flake and I think the writing is supposed to be the logo.

Was anyone else hoping the "borderline rude" cake would have a nice script "ruderuderuderude" all along the edge as a border?
Another day, another "snort my drink out of my nose" moment. These were priceless!
I was laughing way too hard at that part of the Superstore episode @Jenny!
@Clair- even IF the "Flake" cakenwas for the brand, it's STILL a fail! Not even close!
Jen... You need to see the cake on the latest Superstore episode on hulu.
It was a classic cake wreck!
Totally thought of Cake Wrecks when I saw the Superstore episode!
"No, don't write that... Stop writing!" Epic!
What is the red stuff in the center of the Pick cake? Do I even want to know?
Anne FTW!! Between the post and the comment, I'm still giggling.
