Lord Of The Facepalms

Brandon wanted a Bunko-themed cake with three dice on it.
Danielle asked for "Linda" in white icing.
Francie ordered a 50th birthday cake for a friend, noting that she wanted to pick it up "today."
Kristin's friend ordered a cake that was supposed to read "Happy Mother's Day/Birthday" or "Happy Birthday/Mother's Day" - whichever the baker thought sounded best.
And finally, there were three choices of decorations on the order form: balloons, roses, or mums. Dee chose mums.
Thanks to Brandon M., Danielle J., Francie R., Kristin D., & D.R. for proving one does not simply order from a wreckery.

Bwahahahahahahahahaha! Love the post today John (thoj)!!!
Is the facepalm a universal gesture? I mean, other than elves, hobbits, and assorted other cultures would you find other humans do that around the world? That would be an interesting study. I volunteer to travel around the world to remote places. With cake.
Hahahahaha...Good luck, mums! Hahahaha!!!
I'm not even all that fond of the LotR movies, and I find this very amusing.
Made my day John!
Faith in humanity = 0.
WHERE do they DIG these braindead idiots UP???
Ah, thank you for this post. I needed a good laugh this morning. Cake Wrecks + LotR? Yes, please!
Oy vey, my precious.
I have a bruise on my forehead. Literally.
Thanks for sharing the pain.
Literal lol's my favorite
Literal LOLs are always painful, but at least LotR makes it better!
LotR facepalms. Awesome. :-)
What's with the wrong way leaves on the rosebuds on the mums cake? That bothers me worse than anything.
Llappy birthday, Martha! Happy Face-palm Monday!
The last picture.
Loved the LORD OF THE RINGS pictures with it! Awesome choice.
I LOVE posts with geekery in them, and this is awesome. Doubly awesome cos I FINALLY got round to watching The Name of the Doctor last night and I've had two lovely surprise doses of Sir Ian in the past 12 hours! Hm might have to go watch Fellowship again... It is time.
The end-times will be signalled by zombie cake-wreckerators, shambling through supermarkets everywhere, intoning their mantra:
"BRIANS... BRIIIIIIIANSSSSSSSSSS..."
It makes my Tolkien geek heart happy to see that I can still go on the internet and see new LotR-themed jokes. Well played!
Lol those were priceless. Those cakes wow. I never thought a wreckerator would confuse mums with roses. Now I have seen it all lol.
I feel like the mothers day/ birthday one was the bakers way of saying, 'This is what you get for being cheap and getting her one cake for both occasions.'
Of course now I am picturing that pair at the end as reality tv judges. They look all ready to watch the disasters and share snarky asides with each-other.
I'm not sure which made me laugh more - the cakes or the LotR photos. Awesome post - thank you!!!
