What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

United Wrecks of America

Gimmie a U!

"U!"

Gimmie an S!

"S!"

Gimmie a... nother U?

Huh.

Looks like sticking this cookie cake to the ceiling has addled some brains.

After all, what red-blooded American could forget how to spell the good ol' USA?

I mean, besides these ones?

I feel like this one was getting close:

The underline on the S really sells it.

Well, however you (mis)spell it, here's to all those who've given their lives for this great country: the United States of...

Psst. Guys. You spelled "'MURICA" wrong.

Thanks to Carrie D., Dave G., Heather O., & Scott D. for the memories.

It's only 3 letters. I learned this in preschool. :o(

In thanks to all who have fallen, who have given more than their fare share.

No, no no...! That 3rd one was here BEFORE!! It's NOT an underline! I remember commenting the first time around (!!) that it is simply a matter of the letter "S" standing on the letter A's right foot! You can go back and check! I'm not going crazy...I'm nut going krazeeee...!!!! =^0.o^= )whimper(

This is truly pathetic. Just plain pathetic. Maybe, just maybe, the decorator was going to add a great big "A" to the last cake, but don't these stores have managers? Or are they as dumb as the wreckorators?

At any rate, thanks to all who have given their lives and their service to not only America, but our allies around the world, not only in The War to End All Wars, but the ones that followed. God Bless You All.

'MURICA with an apostrophe?
With all the trouble cake decorators have with apostrophes, your making it too complicated for them.

If the first one is on the ceiling, how do you know it's not NSN?

Not that it makes any more sense...

I see what they did with the cupcake one. The first cupcake of the underlining is the tail of the u. The second cupcake of the underlining is the second leg of the a but the s is in front of the a blocking part of it. Either that or they just are horrible decorators LOL

Hey, maybe the first cake is for some really ardent supporters of Utah State University who just, uh, forgot what the school colors are. Right.

UAA - the cake was made for German geeks working on Unternehmensanwendungsarchitektur and contained an unknown amino acid, but was returned "Undeliverable As Addressed".
Cupcakes - the lower middle part of the S is inside the U, and the missing leg of the A is occupying the resulting gap left underneath the S. Or maybe they live on a highway in Vermont.
Last one - the decorator was told to put a merica on the cake and he did. So, eat, eat! Have a merica! Have two mericas, they're small.

Awful wrecks as usual. It's... nice?... to know that some things don't change.

Just stopping by to wish everyone a Happy Glorious 25th of May, and also Happy Towel Day!

What the.. they can't spell USA? Lol three letters and they can't do this. Boy now I really won't stop laughing in disbelief for a good five minutes. Goodness.

These are mostly pretty sad, but 'Merica is considered a word here in the South. If you paint your car to look like the American flag, the color is listed as either Freedom or Merica on the car registration form.

I thought #1 was supposed to be USU = United States of Uhmerica

May 26, 2015 | Unregistered CommenterMiss Paper
