That's because in Western Sahara cakes are Haram and in North Korea they're all too starving to get any amusement from looking at cakes.
Thanks to you all! I come here every day (even Saturday - you never know if you might post on Saturday) to enjoy the talent - or lack thereof - of the bakers, decorators, and wreckorators you feature. It is good, clean (usually) fun that often results in a spit-take or guffaw..and everyone needs one of those occasionally. Happy anniversary!

Those North Koreans don't know what they're missing! Or maybe they do and that's why they are staying away. I'm going to assume not a lot of cakey delights above the DMZ.

And how'd you break into Greenland? I swear, that's like a personal goal of mine. I want to somehow tap the Greenland market just so I can have that country not grayed out on my stats map.
I've been reading Cake Wrecks for years and it's still funny and fresh. Of course, once you have children, the website will have to be put aside.

I first found Cakewrecks when I was off work with a serious kidney problem. I didn't care about the problem because I was off my face on tramadol. I spent five sick days giggling like a legally wasted loon as I went through your archive- there were a few months worth of wrecks- I thought it was funny because of the NHS' fine pain management pills. No. No it was funny because these cakes are so bad. And you are hilarious.
Thank you. And thank you for featuring the tribute wrecks my friends made for me. To be featured on the site was an actual peak in my life.
