The last cake looks like it is collapsing in on itself in shame. AS WELL IT MIGHT.
It's my birthday too, and I feel 111 years young too!
You know you've been looking at CakeWrecks too long when you see a cupcake cake (Ptooie!) and think, "Wow, that's not so bad!"
I would, however, scrape off all that icing before I ate anything.
My 8 year old (after seeing the last cake) said "that is pretty bad... what happened to it"? I agree completely, lol!!

i like the second cake - which looks like cupcakes. i think it's really clever.
Well, they COULD at least have washed the dirty glass before plopping on the top of all those leftover non-descript globs of fondant.

Why did they off set the rows of white and red on the ccc (ptooi!)if they had lined them up it would have looked a bit better. And why thing one and two in profile?

I must admit - that cupcake cake is not a total wreck- the icing and piping are both remarkably precise (with the exception of the Things). I even like the offset rows.
You know, if you are going to go to the trouble and expense of baking and decorating a special cake, why not take the time to double check your spelling? Maybe you are not a great artist but there are dictionaries, people!

On the last cake- "I'd do not like green eggs and play dough cakes, I do not like them Jen I AM serious"
My bestie is a cake decorator, and she has compared Fondant to play dough before, but to my knowledge, she's never "made a snake" and crammed it into the space where the layers of cake meet :)

Okay, I'm not buying that the last cake is from a professional bakery. No way, no how! They wrote with a STAR TIP! (right now you're thinking, *THAT"S what you're focusing on?!*) Besides all the other, I'm going to say hundreds of flaws with this "cake", I'm never going to believe that a professional baker would ever write with a star tip...or think this cake was good...or even think it was okay...or even allow a photograph to be taken of it...
This was constructed by a kindergarten class under the not so direct supervision of their substitute teacher's helper. There is NO WAY this was done by a professional. nope, nope, nope!
The last one looks like a blindfolded, drunken version of it's inspiration.
I....kind of like the cupcake one.
As for the rest, in the words of the Dr. himself, "You're in pretty good shape for the shape that you're in!" :p

It never occurred to me that cake decorating is a Freudian phallic syndrome, but the evidence just keeps, uh, coming.
After many years of Cake Wrecks, I admit to being completely surprised that no one misspelled Dr. Seuss's last name.
I thought the CCC was pretty reasonable for a CCC, though emphasizing the shapes of the cupcakes looks a bit odd for this particular hat. I'm keeping my opinions of the rest firmly to myself. Yep. If you can't say anything nice, and all that. There's also that "Don't swear" in the moderator directions.
