Different Madonna, Different "Holiday"

Hallidays!
Celebrate!
Helydays!
Celebrate!
If we took a hoilday:
Took some time to celebrate
Just one day out of life
It would be...
It would be SO ICE
Everybody spread the lard
We're gonna have a festive nation!
It isn't very hard
to meet expectations!
Ok, new plan:
I LIKE IT.
Thanks to Wolfie, Anony M., Fran V., Stefanie K., Randi M., Megan H., Rebecca M., Sarah D., Shachi, Lisa N., Elaine L., & Melody W. for the Festivus Miracle.

I'll be a winter wonder lard after Christmas when I've finished stuffing my face. Merry Hoo Hoo to you too! (I'm going to make that what I say this holliday.)
"Like a Virgin" is a Hole Day song, isn't it?
I made it through the bakery
Somehow I made it through
Didn’t know so many cakes
Could make me feel blue
They’re from hell, they’re misspelled
“Holiday” is one real tough word
But the bakers learned
Yeah, the bakers learned: Just write what you heard
It’s phonetic
There’s really no correct way
It’s phonetic
Put the letters any old, which way
I misspelled holidays as hoilidays once, so I can relate. Happy Festivus!

Happy Hole Days my CakeWrecks friends!!
The Hoo Hoo cake made my day!
Love the "Happy Festivus A--hole"!! It's an homage to Seinfeld, hahahahhah! A Festivus for the Rest of Us!
After walking through a winter wonderlard , remember to change into clean footwear .
I played "Holiday" on YouTube while scrolling, and it made the wrecks almost visually-palatable. (You did that on purpose. Thank you.) Then, I was wondering if the "Happy Hole Days" was the original wreck, or a picture of the book cover; then I thought, "Would make a difference"? =^-.-^=
Goodness! I hate to be snarky, but were all of these cakes done by the folks mentioned on cake #5? Coz otherwise, we're in BIG trouble!
I love that the Weird Santa- of 1/2ness has little wings coming out the side... it makes his pigeon sound "ho-ho's" much better. Good thinking wreckirator, I totally believe this was intentional now. ~whispers:: the world will never know~
Ha! All of these are hilarious. I think I like "Let it Sw*n" the best!
I like to think that the baker was dyslexic for the learning disabilities cake. Because it makes me giggle, and because I'm a terrible person, probably.
Winter Wonder Lard is probably a reference to all those sweets that have made my jeans just a little bit tight.
Merry Hoo Hoo to each and every one of you!
At least it's better than when they wrote "Le*tit N*WS," don't you think?
I'm not sure which made me laugh harder: Let it Swan, or Winder Wonderlard. Mmm….lard...
Actually, the festivus cake, though missing a comma after "festivus," does not strike me as a total wreck. It seems to have been appropriately prepared for the traditional Airing of Grievances (see also festivusweb.com), using just the right kind of uninspired decorating to underscore the overall message.
:-)
Oh, heck. If they have enough drinks, the people at the coctail party won't even notice the mistake by the time they cut the cake.
O_o where do bakers get their people from??
I think I just lost the holllliday spirit. Bring on the New Year! Please!
The Merry Hoo-Hoo Santa had me rolling because I've heard it used as slang for...well never mind, I want to keep this post clean and I am sure you get the idea! But I could see why Santa might d be Merry over Hoo-Hoos! ;)
Actually, I thought the third one said Happy Holy Days, which isn't so bad...
Merry Ho Ho Ho is actually incredibly accurate. Ho! ... Oh. ... ew(oo).
I'm the only one that saw Groot in the Noel cake.
Ha ha ha! This post really made me laugh! "Hoo hoo Santa" almost looks like he has little switchblades for arms, though I think they are actually plastic mittens. Anyway, let it swon so we can walk around in a winter wonderlard. Happy Hoolidays!
After seeing these cakes, I think I might have to lock all four kiddies in one bedroom for a sleepover on Christmas Eve, and then hubs and I can have a little 'Merry Hoo Hoo' ourselves. Which kind of fits with the 'Coctail" and "Hole Day" cakes too ;-)
Happy Hoildays to everyone!
The second cake was supposed to read "6th Annual Cocteau Party"
It's always a surreal experience.
Merry Hoo Hoo...? Let It Swon...??
I'm laughing so hard no sound is coming out.
#5: ...Meta statement cake is meta.
Wow, I never knew that all of us French-speakers had been pronouncing the name of the holiday (hoiliday/halliday/holidayday) incorrectly all these centuries. Célébrons Niel!! (It's an upside-down i, isn't it?) Merci chers wreckerateurs pour la leçon de français!
Let it swan.
Let it swen.
Let it swin.
Let it swon.
Let it swun.
Okay, how,about "Let it swyn"?
N. EL. Let it Sw*n! I love the hole days! Thanks for remembering a holiday for the rest of us, a^^hole!
Where can I order the "I hate the holidays" cake? After working retail and listening to two months of non-stop sleigh rides and jingle bells, I'm not feeling very merry right now.
"Merry Hoo Hoo" is a surprise for Mrs. Claus, isn't it?
@Jane: That's what I read, but is it Liz Fraser or Jean Maurice?
I think "Merry HooHoo" might be one of the funniest things I've ever read on this site.
The cake for people with learning disabilities had a delicious irony to it. ;)
My Hoo Hoo has not been happy in a long time!
Well who can be happy without a happy hoo hoo? Lol. Man I love the little trees to cover the naught word. Just made me bust out laughing seeing those.
God help me, I actually think the Noel with the reindeerish thing is kinda cute. No, really.
As a southern-hemispherite, in a place that didn't even see snow in the last ice age, I'm glad someone has finally found a snow-like substance that won't melt on Christmas day. Yay for Wonderlard! Is it made by the same company as the Wonderbra? And after the festivities, I assume we can use it to deep-fry some chips?
at least the Santa one didn't say "Happy Hooha"
Because that's an entirely different post!
(vagina cake, anyone?)
Any Sherlock Holmes fan knows that Halliday's is not a happy place.
I laughed so hard at Winter Wonderlard I literally almost fell off my chair and had to open the window because I could not breath. Thank you for posting one of the funniest wrecks ever.
