It's a Double Down!

Hey H.T., is "double down" actually a football thing? Or am I thinking of that KFC sandwich again?
Mmmmm. KFC. Maybe with some biscuits and honey, and that minced coleslaw that's really sweet? Aw yeah. That's the stuff.
Oh, and I think those cakes are misspelled or whatever.
Now, SOMEONE GET ME SOME CHICKEN. The Pentaverate demands it.

@Sharyn-- +100 internets to you! Diagon-ally... brilliant.
I think it's a testament to my cluelessness about the superbowl (and possibly my eyesight) that I thought that second cake said "Saints" and wondered why it was actually wrong.
Yeah. I was sooo not the audience for this one! ;)
Mmmm KFC I haven't had that in years. As for those cakes lol to whoever bought them. I hope they are tasty and just cause they are misspelled shouldn't ruin the party lol. Then again I don't follow football so meh.
Personal theories:
1)Unpleasant medical conditions/diseases, possibly in unpleasant locations. "Doc, you gotta give me help me...my patroits are flaring up again. Gaints inflamed something fierce."
2) Fragments of a larger cake message: "Whattaya got gaints the patroits?"
3) Chicken parts, like the 'pope's nose' or maybe poultry version of 'prairie oysters'. (Do not want to test whether patroits or gaints would be finger lickin' good, even served with biscuit, honey and slaw.)
Craig--
Some of the KFC's here in WA are combined with Pizza Huts, thus the available pizza.
Haiku Joy--
Too funny. I don't think the employees at the KFC saw much humor about their lack of chicken either.
HT! You make me so proud....LOL
OMG! BOTH are misspelled! See kids, this is the difference between a GED and a HS Diploma. STAY IN SCHOOL! DO YOUR BEST! Senoir hookey day isn't all it's cracked up to be anyway. Not that I would know...
Is that the same as Senior Skip Day, or is it a new Spanish Man Day? hmmmm...but that would be Senore' or something, right?
Did anyone else notice that these cakes were ON DISPLAY? Because, I dunno, the baker was so proud of his gud speling that he wanted to put the cakes out for all the world to see?
That scare you gave us the other day is converting me from a lurker to a commenter. We love you Jen. And maybe wreckerators should just stick to the printed sugar paper to avoid these embarrassments...
Can I just say that I LOVE that you quoted So I Married An Axe Murderer? One of the best and least appreciated movies of the 90s. Heed, pants, now!
I read in one of the many LaPaglia articles I've perused over the years (I'm a HUGE fan of his) that he was cracking up in that scene for real, that Myers kept ad-libbing and making poor LaPaglia lose it over and over. That movie rocks on so many levels.
