Ashlee R., I want you to know that as painful as that was to read, it was even harder on us to write.

I thought the middle word said "Dracn," as in a fantasy-book term for large fire-breathing reptile. Which is probably what needs to be unleashed on the person who taught the decorator English or on the supervisor who let this cake go on sale.
Soo... Is it bad that I didn't catch any of the misspellings the first time I read that?
I need to stop checking this site at work.
I was making back to school cookies & had
the evil urge to spell things wrong. Is it bad
that I find people having aneurisms while reading
these amusing?
This baker needs to go back to skool & get a
better edumacation
"My spell checker just wet itself."
So glad *I* went to the restroom before reading that. I'm still giggling.
As for this cake, it's almost too tragic to be comic.
Why This May Not Be A Wreck

If you look carefully, you'll see the missing letters trying to slither off the cake unnoticed. The word "draem" is an anagram.
Suzanne: I thought "archive," too, and wondered why that was a necessary skill.
Andrea: I LOVE your posts. Now I'm imagining the Peanuts kids standing around the cake singing "Spelling time is here. Mine needs work, I fear..."
mel: I may have to step up my freakazoid fan girl, platonic, non-stalking of you... You have an endless supply of good puns.
zoomom: I would be honored to join SuBee in "synchronized parodization" as long as I don't have to wear a swimsuit.
Well at least cupcakes was spelled correctly behind the cake lol. Man my brain exploded after reading through those poor defenseless misspelled words. Wreckerators you make my brain hurt!
Today's post and comments remind me of my favourite Simpsons quote:
"Me fail English? That unpossible!"
It's great to see that Ralph Wiggam has career prospects in cake wrecking. With only four fingers on each hand he's going to be wrecktastic.
I think the baker's 4-year-old was let loose on the cake... yeah, that must explain it. Give the poor 4-year-old a break, people! lol.
Oh man. This one just completely set me off for some reason, but due to a cold all the laughter turned into these weird high-pitched wheezing snorts that made the whole thing funnier and I wound up laughing so hard I had an asthma attack.
Cake Wrecks - I LITERALLY almost died of laughter ;)
Achive - the perfect spice for school....
Aaaah! Achieve! I thought that was a mispelling of "Archive" which struck me as an odd thing to be core in a school syllabus.
Huh. So it turns out maybe I *hadn't* seen this cake before... but I had seen *this* one! http://www.cakewrecks.com/home/2010/4/29/a-dreme-come-true.html
All the more sad, if you ask me...
They are indeed imagining, and dreaming, of proper spelling and penmanship. Alas.. they are not achieving.
The next time that someone asks me if spelling "really matters anymore" I'm going to show them this! Seriously, what's the point if no-one understands it?
I thought it said "Imagine Dragons Archive".
