What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

Don't MAKE Me Count To Threeth

Remember the old saying?

"Twice is a coincidence...

"Three times is a pattern...

"And four times means there's some kind of voodoo curse involved."

Jennifer N., Amber D., Tara A., & Brynna R., you guys get the rooster tears, and I'll fetch a bucket of sprinkles. Meet back here at oh threeth hundred.

That last one might be the first thing I've ever seen on this site that looks delicious!
Homemade? Don't even know what it is, but I'd be thrilled to get that for my birthday instead of these store-bought cakes. (Except for the Jewel store whipped cream cakes, yum!)

My three-year-old daughter just used the word "thith." I asked her what that meant, and she said, "You know, thith. First little pig, second little pig, thith little pig!" I therefore posit that these decorators are bright three-year-olds instead of adults.

I'm also concerned about the lurid blue icing on the chocolate-topped cake. That clashes >_<

I'm sure I have some diary entry dates with "23th" written in them somewhere..... That so looks like the kind of mistake I'd make and not notice at all... *blush* I'm afraid to open it and check now, lol.
