What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

Shameless Begging

Hey Everyone!

There are only 2 days left to vote for your favorite blogs over on The Blogger's Choice Awards, so if you like this site, please consider voting for it in the 'best humor blog' category.

If you're not already registered on the BCA site there is a sign-up form and confirmation e-mail, so I won't lie to you: it will take a few minutes of your time. However, winning a Blogger's Choice Award is a key step in my plan for ultimate Wrecky World Domination, so I would reeeally appreciate your support. Besides, it's free, relatively easy, and then you can vote for all of your other favorite blogs, too.

Click here to register and then here to vote for Cake Wrecks.

Please?

UPDATE: Wow, Wrecks went from 65 votes to being in the top 3 in about 6 hours! Thanks, guys, and keep those votes comin': may the funniest blog win!

I came to your site via Katie Macalister on livejournal. Just like most people I love your blog. Omg I can't wait to see what your gonna say about the next wreck you post. Anytime I am feeling kind of down I will reread an older post and it will make me crack up laughing.

I personally love the naked babies with the mohawks. lol omg just thinking about it makes me laugh
