Our lawns become a technicolor playground,

While inside everyone's decorating with rich golds and reds and orange to match:
Even though the days aren't TOO cold,

...it's still nice to break out the sweaters and thick knit socks.
Especially during trips to the pumpkin patch!
Dingdingding! We have a winner!
It's a good idea to buy an extra pumpkin (or six) for carving.

And don't you love how much easier it is to find caramel apples now?

That's always a good thing.
Scarecrows can finally rest their arms,

So, before I stock up on chocolate and plan a Fall nap, let me just wish you all:

Even though it's chilly enough for a sweater here today, I would trade all of my sweaters for one of these cakes. Heck, I'd trade all of my shoes for that gnome sitting on the pumpkin...
That first one made me SCREAM!!!!! And then the fourth one made me SCREAM!!!!! again!!!!!!
They're all beautiful or cute, but I want the first one! And the fourth one. And the seventh one.
I love the sock monkey colours knit cake. So adorable!
Does that teddy bear on the last one have any cake in it, or is is made entirely of icing? Please say it's all icing. Please.
I-cing, I-cing, I-cing....
I'm going to need that bear from the last cake in plush form. For, reasons.
Awwww! Was that first one fondant free? So pretty!
Oh, the first one looks like it's shaking it's leafy head in the fall breeze, just for fun!
The fourth, mosaic- like one would be wonderful as a candle!
The knit hat is adorable, and they're ALL beautiful, but my favorite is the drool-worthy caramel apple.Oh! Are those chocolate - covered pretzels?Just stab me with one, now...!
=^-.-^=
I hope Catherine has a sock monkey
These are ALL A-MAZ-ING, but as a knitter, I find myself especially drawn to the one with the knitted texture. Gorgeous work.
They are all just so wonderful!
I'm definitely buying an extra pumpkin or perhaps two to carve this year, because last year I managed to make one small cut in the wrong place and botch the entire thing. ;_;
How do you EVEN make a cake appear to be knit? (knitted?) That's brilliant. And the first one makes my heart beat a teensy bit faster!
Wonderful cakes! But I hope you'll remember us southern hemisphere readers who are enjoying the spring daffodils and crocuses...
What are the beautiful delicate fall leaves made of?
I like all of them -- but especially Cake #4 for beauty! And the very last one -- do you think the tree stump also has cake inside?
Lovely! I especially love the caramel apple cake, since it's the only kind of caramel apple I can eat....stupid allergies :(
It's doing all that somewhere...
Meanwhile in Texas....woo hoo...the temp has dropped from the 90s to the 80s! Happy Fall!
