Let's terrorize some children!
"Ohh nooo!"
Oh, YES, 'fraidy cat half-chicken! For far too long now, Easter has been the holiday of the cute and cuddly. Well, NO MORE.
"It's PAYBACK time, beechez."
"Bwahaha!"
"Yeah. Just you wait 'til I roll over there, kids. Just you wait.
"Right, Bugsy?"
"Ohh yes. Meet your hippity-hoppity nightmare, young whippersnappers!"
Or shall I introduce you to the Ghost of Easters Past?
Alright. This chick is toast!
Now, brave Wreckies, if ye do doubt your courage - or your strength! - come nae further!
For DEATH awaits you all...
...with nasty, big, pointy teeth!!
[blink blink]
Um....

Thanks to Shannon C., Heather, Summer B., Jekka G., Candice C., Danna F., Rachel P., & Jennifer D., who tell me that goes great with mint jelly filling.

Ohh, the black "highlights" on the Easter Bunny's eyes and breasts and genitals... So disturbing. Is this supposed to be a guide for rodent gynecologists or something?
A lamb in a bed of cilantro, nibbling a leaf of it? Why?
I know, I know - Rabbits are not rodents, they're lagomorphs, sheesh!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Where's a Exorcist when you need them?!?!?
Yay for Monty Python references on a Wednesday morning! "It's a busy life in Camelot..."
AAAUUUUGGGHHHHH D:
I think all these cakes are stellar. No wrecks among them. Bwah ha ha ha ha! Happy April Fool's day everyone!
WHY is the bunny in the CCC (Ptooie!) so angry!! And, in the second-to-last one, I thought those were blue hands holding cotton balls and I was confused.
At times like this
I feel I must ask myself
Where is Haiku Joy?
Nice save @SuBee! Lagomorphs Unite! Wait, scratch that. Last week my 15 year-old and I were housesitting and taking care of a whole mess of animals including 5 bunnies. They are stinky and messy! Kinda like Bugsy up there! o.O
Thank you, thank you, thank you for #5. I so needed that out-loud laugh!
Oh that last one.....*shudder*
I found the rare-meat colour of the cake from which the lamb was made to be particularly disturbing. And the black-eyed rabbit with the polka dot...shorts was indeed the stuff of nightmares!
That would be the Lamb of oh my God for the love of Jeebus look away NOW!!!!!
Just why???? It's like the Mr Burns nuclear animal breeding factory.
Oh man.... that last lamb *really* looks like some of those really trippy paintings of Hell from the middle ages. It looks intent on a killing spree. "You ATE who now?!" Revenge is a dish best served cold... and with a side of cilantro apparently. (PS Why isn't it chewing on mint? Seems more traditional.) And as usual your bunnies are terrifying. Couldn't have picked better.
Oh Lord, bless this thine hand grenade that with it thou mayest blow these cakes into tiny bits (in thy mercy). And the Lord did grin and the people did feast on cakes...!
hmm, #5 a porn rabbit c.c.c. rather disturbing, terrifying and eye scorching all at the same time. now THAT is a talented bakery.
Oh my. These photos make me want to consult the Book of Armaments.
I always read, never comment, but just wanted to clarify: #5 isn't a full rabbit, just his head. The polkadot thing is his bow tie and the gray/black circles are supposed to be his cheeks.
Also, I want the demon lamb cake (# 3) to take to church on Sunday. They'll find it tasteful, right?
.......right?
The lamb had a Post-It-Leaf all ready to jot down the number of a recklessly speeding mower.
Sadly, he forgot to look out for the weed whacker. =^-.-^= (Please; a moment of silence for the lamb.)
These are scary and hilarious at the same time!
If I were baking that demon lamb cake, I'd go with a red filling in the center. But that's just me.
@Shleelee - I like my version better !!
That lamb. ... The horror.....
But @Jodi, I'm totally with you on the red filling. Double the horror!
If these cakes had been waiting for Jesus when He rose from the dead, he would have returned to the tomb and rolled the stone back in place. And He would have repeated, "Forgive them, Father, for they know nit what they do."
Bunny #5 looks like he wants to punch someone. Like he’s a lagomorph goon or something, hired to beat up bakers who make wrecky cupcake cakes (Patooie!).
Was the seventh cake supposed to be a Monty Python reference? Because I would have gone there even without your hilarious commentary.
I'm sort of stuck on cake three. Why is the lamb so angry? Why is it floating atop a tray of cut and frosted brownies? is that paper sticking out from underneath it? Who did they imagine would buy it? "Oooh I hope they have a tray of easy serve brownies with an extra layer of thick butter cream to cut through in the shape of a terrifying lamb...Oh, good!"
Well, you did it. You found something creepier than Scary Clowns.
Also, why does the slaughtered lamb have googly eyes? Why, Oh Gracious Lord, Why?!?!?!
CCC bunny (patooie) is just plain wrong.I can't quite make my eyes see a bow tie. If so, that's a heckuva goiter. And the lamb? No words, just shaking head. No, 2 also is disturbing. Is the rabbit coming or going? That wreckor needs to go back to 7th grade art for some perspective classes.
the Monty Python references in the post and in the comments section win the internet today :)
@Jodi
Agreed, maybe a red velvet? With bits of cherries mixed in? haha!
#5 tho...hurk!
The second from last cake looks exactly like a brainstem, which unfortunately brought back memories of neuroscience lab... including the smell. If that's not an appetite suppressant, I don't know what is. I do have to commend the decorators for creating a perfect replica. The whiskers could even double as cranial nerves!
Love that last one. (The lamb.) Cute.
The black-eyed rabbit with the polka dot... bow tie is Roger, as in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Not very Eastery, but really...
Sing along with Pinky and the Brain... "... Brainstem... Brainstem...!!!"
THESE ARE REAL!!!! That makes them even more frightening. They and only God knows how many more like them are OUT THERE, maybe in a breakroom or-gulp- waiting at Nana's for Sunday. I'm staying in the bunker. Now to wash my brain with bleach.
That last lamb is just daring someone to slice off another piece....Just daring.....
Perhaps it's just a guy thing, but upon first viewing the #5 CCC, the first thought I had was "Are those paws... or does the Easter Bunny have hairy breasts with three nipples apiece? And is he wearing black lace crotchles panties? And if none of this is intentional, why make his eyebrows furrowed as though he is furious, perhaps that no one has yet appreciated his selection of lingerie?"
Maye it's just me. Oh, and the lamb at the end is obviously a zombie, since he continues eating even though he has been sliced in several pieces.
Oh man I bet the exorcists ran screaming just looking at these cakes especially the last one.. oh my gosh lol.
That lamb is chewing the greenery because he is trying to give up smoking. No smoking lamb cakes this year? Must be working!
The colossal chocolate chip cookie cake - It looks like an evil experiment caused the chick to switch bodies with his wife, and he just discovered he's got his own set of boobs.
The first lamb cake: shouldn't that be "BAAAAA-HA-HA" ?!
Bring me a shrubbery, so that I can hide that terrifying Bugsy behind it. Seriously, that must be what the hatching chick in the first cake is afraid of.
The second to last cake: my first impression is some scary sea creature, like a sea slug or a really pissed-off hermit crab.
The last cake: HILARIOUS. I guess working in the emergency dept gives one a sick sense of humor.
