My family is from Punxsutawny, PA and my cousin's son is this year's 2015 Little Mr. Groundhog! He is so excited about this. If you happen to go to Punxsutawny look around at all of the groundhog statues. They are painted in all kinds of designs. Here is a link to some of the statues:

Watched that movie so many times, I know it by heart. One day I had a craft fair in Woodstock, IL and drove onto the town square. There it was, the Town Square. The gazebo, the hotel, the street where Bill stepped in the water filled pot hole! I ran around taking pictures of every special spot I recognized! Your rendition of the radio scene is awesome!

The pink radio cake is definitely British. The Roberts radio it represents was a best seller for many years in the quality end of the market, and became a symbol of the prosperous middle-class, middle-aged way of life -- hence the tea and knitting that accompany it. In fact the machine became so iconic (sorry about that word) that you can buy a replica of it, still made by Roberts, but now with the works of a digital radio.

The radio cake are unbelievable! I'd like to see a slice of the cut cake to prove it's really a cake and not plastic. How did they do that??

That radio and knitting! I refuse to beleive it is cake. It is just way too sweet. I'd be happy to display that in my living room.
These are all great. I especially like the radio & teacup one.
Although I realize that it is a direct quote from the film promo, the grammar nerd in me just cannot "like" the Bill Murray cake, because it should say, "What if there WERE no tomorrow?"

It took me a while to realise that that first picture was not a real radio. That was awesome.
I haven't commented in a long time, but this is one of my favorite movies. Last year, I had a birthday 'day' where we ran around all day doing different things (sort of) related to the movie - breakfast pancakes/flapjacks, went to the center of downtown to see Sir Walter Raleigh and sing the groundhog song, goofing off around a playground with a train on it, lunch, museum, dinner, arcade.. . oh god what all did we do? now I have to go back and check my facebook, but it ended with beer and pizza and probably ice cream. I hauled around a stuffed groundhog the whole day and different friends joined us and left again since most of them couldn't stay all day.
