Friday Favs 12/4/15

Some of my favorite new submissions this week.
This is what it looks like when the Walmart bakery officially runs out of ideas:
(I was going to blur the label, buuuuuut....)
You probably think this teddy bear design looks pretty simple, right?
Couple of circles, arms, legs, poof. Easy.
WELL THINK AGAIN:
I'm most fascinated by the bow tie. How...?
The baker seemed confused by their request, so Chris B. clarified: "You know, a road that you drive on?"
The good news is, they DID get the road.
And finally, a tragic tableau, right there in the potato chip aisle:
[sad music playing]
Jason K. found this abandoned shopping cart on his latest snack run, and it tells a rich tale.
A tale of incompetence, good manners, and a fast get-away car:
Happy Bathby, Aangel. Wherever you are.
Thanks to Hannah H., Scott M., Jennifer B., Chris B., & Jason K. for potentially starting a new trend. We'll call it the "shop, drop, and RUN."

At least they didn't pay for Aangel's Bathby cake, for which, full marks.
That's not a bow tie on the bear. It is a band aid because he obviously had some surgery that went terribly wrong.
Happy Bathby to everyone, everywhere!
Your blog makes me laugh out loud at work everyday. You are hilarious. I was just dying thinking of someone making the obviuos decision not to buy that cake.
Maybe it's a bear skin rug?
Aww, that bear's expression! Is it wrong that I want to give him a hug?
That is one guilty-looking bear.
O_o cannot believe this........
Do you ever think that maybe it's "Take-Your-Child-To-Work Day"? They're pretty good attempts...for a 4 year old!
That's a way to avoid confrontation with a baker. Pretend to like the cake, then leave it somewhere the baker can't see it. Voila! No paying for a wreck! Except it's probably traceable... :-)
What's that I the bakery case -
It's a bird!
It's a sun!
It's... Wolman!
(I am Wolman, hear me roar!)
I think that poor little bear wandered onto a road you drive on.
The first one made me gigglesnort!
The bear: even I could do better than that.
Abandoned cake: Do you think we need to establish a no-questions-asked drop-off zone for cake wrecks, so they can still go to a loving home?
Well, I for one am glad to know that Walmart sells baked goods decorated with "Walmart" on them! I'm constantly in need of those.
Karen, I'm certain the detectives are on on the trail right now for Aangel's parents/guardians. Once found, I'm certain they'll be awarded a medal for diplomacy and common sense!
I thought the poor bear had a buckle or maybe one of those sticker clips for an Ace bandage instead of a bow tie. But Ute had a better idea.
Who puts a Hitler mustache on a teddy bear?
Awww, that's such a sad little bear. :{
Bear #2 is what happens when a bear eats too many jumbo cookie cakes. It is a public service announcement in cookie form. Not sure, but that might be required in bakeries in the State of New York.
Please help me understand what it was that Chris B was trying to clarify when he said to the decorator, "You know, the road that you drive on'".
Bear Wreck: *sniff* "My father went the same way."
I wonder what kind of occasion would require a "Walmart" cookie cake...
Well that poor bear has the luck of Mr. Bill. He got run over by some mystery reindeer while traveling on the road you drive on lol. Poor thing.
That bear looks like Junior on The Cleveland Show.
My children loves those cakes... He just asked me when he can eat this cake...
