What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

Halloween Boo Boos

Some questions are easy to answer.

"Cake, or DEATH?"

"Uh...cake, please."

Others can be a little more tricky:

"Trick, or TROAT?"

"And this is for 'Hallowen,' so, be honest."

Here's a moving Halloween vignette:

Judging by the pile behind it, I guess we have to assume that's "Poop in Peace."

(Which, come to think of it, is probably what every parent of a two to six-year-old dreams of doing.)

Jack O' Lanterns:

YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.

Sperm Bullies:

YOU PRETTY MUCH NAILED IT.

I can't decide if these two are hanging garland or just have massive orthodontist bills:

Boo? Boo?! YOU TAKE THAT BACK!

Thank you.

Thanks to Porter N., Rane L., Katya H., Lisa S., Laura W., & Destiny G., who think that last one is pretty yracs.

Hey Philadelphia!  We'll see you tonight!  WOOHOO!!!

Oh my lol. Where do I begin? That last cake just about had me dying of laughter. Then again most nights this site nearly kills me with laughter. Thank you for helping me forget my troubles lol.

OK - Love that last cake. We saw RSC;s backwards Hamlet (see link from Chelsea above) about 15 years ago, and "oob" has been a catch phrase ever since. If I knew any cake decorators, I'd be certain that it was on purpose.

Oobles to everyone!

As the mom of a 4 year old and a 6 year old, I must admit that I would love the opportunity to "Poop in Peace." It doesn't matter what they are doing or how engaged they are in their activity, the second I "sit" in the bathroom I hear the yells.

"Cake or Death?" you're an Eddie Izzard fan?!? You have no idea how alarmingly close I am to stalking you and screaming "I love you, Jen!" every time you leave your house. Or maybe I'll just bring a flag and claim your home as my own. "...Have you got a flag?"
If that sounds like it might be fun, get in touch with me and we'll work out the details.
I must now go watch Dress To Kill.

Fairly certain the ghosts with the "garland" are supposed to be carrying chains...which really isn't all that bad...But another hilarious post, for sure! Love what you guys do!
