October 17, 2008 Why 809? Because that's the number of votes Cake Wrecks received over at the Blogger's Choice Awards. That's right, Wrecks fans, WE WON!!
Not only that, but your voting made CW win by a landslide: 300 votes more than second place! Of the 37 or so categories on BCA, I think I only saw 3 other winning blogs with more votes than Wrecks: most winners had between 200 and 500 votes. Wow.
