The Cake Wrecks Team
Jen:
Jen started this blog in May of 2008 one night when she was bored. She honestly never thought anyone would read it. She's also not very good at picking Lottery numbers.
Today Jen lives in Orlando with her hubby, John, and their cats Tonks and Lily. She enjoys dessert first, quoting Ghostbusters, and flaunting her flaming geekiness on her other blog, Epbot.
Most of the posts here are written by Jen, but she also has occasional guest posts from the following funny (as in "funny ha-ha," not "funny odd") people:
john (the hubby of Jen):
If you've ever been offended by Cake Wrecks, chances are john wrote the post. He's very sorry. When he's not sifting through email and comments, john enjoys not sifting through emails and comments. And talking about himself in the third person. And playing air-drums with his cats. And singing show tunes like "Popular." But in a manly kind of way.
Sharyn Hamilton:
Sharyn is the Primary Can Opener for her tabby, Inigo. She’s married to the Secondary Can Opener, and has one son (The Pink Thing.) A former attorney/mediator, her practice is now limited to keeping Inigo from doing away with The Pink Thing. (“Hello, my name is Inigo Hamilton. You stole my Can Opener. Prepare to die!”) She reads too much, crafts too much, and cleans her house when the dust balls start stalking small neighborhood pets. A Colorado transplant, she attributes her sense of humor to oxygen deprivation. Her mind is filled with obscure Star Trek trivia.
Lindsey Allen (Sunday Sweets Guest Writer):
Lindsey is a mother of three, wife of one, and gun for hire. She is also really hot. (Because she lives in Arizona, and it's like 125 degrees there. Can you come over and help scrape her melted flip-flops off the sidewalk? Thanks in advance.) When she isn't writing about cakes, Lindsey can be found blogging it up daily on her home decor site, Better After.
Dislikes: when her hair does that thing, talking on the phone, being told to "smell this"
Likes: cereal, yoga, celebrity gossip, kicking it old school.
