What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

Name That Name!

Kids these days, with their funky names and their extra weird spellings:

I bet this gets confusing around other holidays.

I hear Lt. Pink really likes light pink icing:

Coincidence?

Oh, great, now ALL the kids will want parentheses in their names:

DAMN HIPSTERS.

Is there a Doctor in the house?

Because only he would have time for this.

And c'mon, this is just ridiculous:

Who names their kid "Janey?"

Thanks to Catherine G., Stephanie T., Elizabeth B., Priscilla C., & Mary G., who know a rose by any other name... can be pretty dang funny.

1) Maybe this cake was for twins. After all, there are two sets of balloons. (But they only wanted one of the twins to be happy).
2) He's a friend of Col. Mustard Yellow.
3) The baker was just emphasizing that the recipient is a girl. Those aren't parentheses, they're hips.
4) Horton heard of him.
5) What I want to know is if they'll sing to the other person, in Italian? Then it might be a Candle opera.

For the last cake:
Did you notice the Happy Birthday balloon picks were on THE WRONG WAY???? Now it reads "Birthday Happy Candles and Janey"! And what's with the ice-cream-sandwich cookies when there is no ice cream? What is the world coming to?
For the second-to-last cake:
Why are fictional characters from How The Grinch Stole Christmas getting their own cake? I don't get it! Was it ordered by a five-year-old? But how did the five-year-old dial the bakery's number? All this is making my brain hurt...

Okay but why is "Birthday" above "Happy"? Among other things. WHO HIRES THESE PEOPLE? WHAT DID THEIR RESUME LOOK LIKE?

These cakes what on earth were they drinking to make these?

That last one is giving me a headache! “Birthday Happy “? And what are the flattened cow pies there for? *confused*

Clara Oswald bought that cake for Lt. Danny Pink.
