What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

Twins!

I think Mandy said this was a sports logo of some sort:

Which the bakery in question did a fantastic job recreating in CCC form:

NOT!!

[derisively] Ahahahahahah!
Hahahah!

[snorting hiccup-turned-choke]
Hooheehaha-hack!

[coughing fit]
Ack ack ack!

[sound of water glugging]

[setting glass down] Ahem. Wow, who knew sarcastic sounds of [cough, cough] contempt could be so dangerous? Whew! Gonna have to dial back the maniacal laughter in the future.

What's that? The Wreck? Oh, well, Mandy, I gotta tell ya: Transporter malfunctions like these are why I prefer to travel by shuttlecraft.

This cat is of the extremely rare breed that, while polydactyl on one or two paws, is oligodactyl on the others, thus ending up with the usual number of toes/claws, but not in the usual pattern.

UK might refer to the CCC!

No. Mandy needs to take several seats on this one.

Had this been a actual cake, I wouldn't have been thrilled.

BUT it's cupcakes. I give the bakery made props he/she even got the design all in that mess. I knew (almost a non sports fan) it's the University of Kentucky Wildcat logo. It isn't a massive fail.

So while it's not verbatim, I have no clue how decorator from a big box/mom and pop bakery would have done that logo on cupcakes. I'm guessing this wasn't from a top tier bakery and the decorator doesn't do Lambeth wedding cakes.

Considering CCC are such nightmares to put together, I'm surprised the bakery said yes.

Hmmmm. Welllllll.....
....Anyone else want a stab at this? I would ask if "UK" fits here, but more likely it would be "YOU 'kay?"
'Cause you don't be lookin' zackly what I'd call "fine".
Y'know?
=^-.-^=

I kind of like the wrecked cat a little more.
He's seen some things.

Looks like the Wildcat had a road accident.

I think I want a tattoo of that face.

I am dying of laughter. I also wonder why the cat looks both terrified and angry at the same time lol.

Yay, John (thoJ)’s favorite is back! Why does the tiger have six claws on his right front foot and only three on his left? Why does he look angry? What made the decorator think this was okay? Ouch!
