Are those giant, droopy *toenails* on that cake? The Squire especially likes the Groot cake; I like the last one. So girly!
Lady Anne I thought exactly the same thing about melting toes! Looks more like a "wreck" than a "sweet" to me!
The Batman silhouette is my favorite - what a striking cake! The dripping fingernails cake actually reminded me more of the candy dots stuck on rolls of paper that we ate as kids (actually, I just saw some for sale at a farmers' market, who knew they still made them?).
My second favorite cake is The Hulk, not just for its amazing green power, nor for the wonderfully happy expression on the face of the Birthday Boy, but for its INCREDIBLE potential as a NSFW-or-kids wreck by a far-lesser talent!

Yeah, I agree that even though the pop art cake is well done, I really don't want to eat melting, drippy toenails! It's like the pregnant belly cakes that are done skillfully but still--ick!
#2 may just be my favorite "Sweet" ever! So powerful. So menacing! My mind reels at the magnitude of genius it must take to make cake look menacing.
That first cake is gorgeous. And the second one is so cleverly done!
Nah, the bomb is totally a Batman reference, stored right beside shark repellant. "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!"
