What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

Now THAT'S Putting A Face On Wreckage

Yesterday a couple of you posted this on the Cake Wrecks' Facebook page:

I'll give you a moment.

[whistling]

Now, I have no idea where it came from, but that's not gonna stop me from jumping on this hilariously traumatizing bandwagon!

Like this:

And this!

And my personal favorite:

"Boop-oop-aSWEET MOTHER OF HECK."

Now just one more, because laugh you must.
THERE IS NO TRY.

Thanks to Maya O., Amanda S., Crystal G., Kellie C., & Hannah G. for using the forks.

Great photoshop!

Can we make the excessive use of piping gel a crime? These guys are so guilty,

May the forks be with you. Live long and prosper. In other words...nanu, nanu.

That last one is a pretty credible version of Yogurt from Spaceballs.

I do love your photo shop posts, it highlights perfectly how bad these wrecks really are XD

Boop oop a - oh my, what happened to her head? And Yoda is unable to advise Luke Skywalker because his mouth has been frosted closed. Speak he will not!

Dear John (thoJ)

I always wondered what the offspring of April the giraffe and the Disney Prince Charming would look like! Now I know! The first one is PERFECT!

The rest are hysterical!

You just can't unsee that!

"Oh my Cinderella, why such a long face?" (ba dum cha! - "rim shot)". Seriously, though, these are hilarious John (thoj), bravo on the photo shop skills! Who knew Betty Boop was a siamese twin with 1 1/2 heads...ugh!
Hilarious though, all of them.

Among many other questions...why is Ariel flipping me off?

May 23, 2017 | Unregistered CommenterCarol

I thought the last one was Shrek!!! Are you sure it was meant to be Yoda?

May 23, 2017 | Unregistered CommenterLili

@Carol: Notice the yellow color. She's playing he-loves-me-he-loves-me-not with a sea flower thingy.

I actually thought the last cake was a pretty good representation of Zuul, until I saw the second picture and realize it was supposed to be Yoda :-\

Snow White - World War Z...

May 23, 2017 | Unregistered CommenterScot

The last one is what happens when Yoda and Shrek fall in love and have a baby Shroda.

May 23, 2017 | Unregistered CommenterRobbie

Betty Boop looks like Liza Minelli trying to clone herself. But they are all wonderfully grafted onto very appropriate poses. A timeless classic, no doubt.

May 23, 2017 | Unregistered CommenterMarkinSF

Well Luke certainly looks like he's using the Force to not have to look the thing posing as Yoda on his back lol.

Truly a classic post. :D

Why is it that I lose all composure looking at these photos and reading your commentaries? From "Happy Falker Satherhood" to this one, I have to squirrel myself in another room because I am laughing so hard. Thanks for your work...these are priceless!

"Boop-oop-aSWEET MOTHER OF HECK!" almost caused me to rupture myself. If there is a better stress-reliever than almost-rupturing-myself-laughing, I'm not interested. Juuust keep the near-rupturings coming, thanks.
