What's a Wreck?
A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

That Mickey is so cross-eyed it eyes hurt! Has he been slipped a mickey?
Wow. I'm with the kid - flee!!!!! Seriously?? Rats, dogs + ducks on steroids???!!! Get me outta here! This is more Stephen King than Disney.

#1 - "Mickey" does NOT look happy. He looks like a bizarre chipmunk ready to spew.
#2 - Donald appears to be choking on his own tongue.
#3 - Pluto's face looks like it was made from Silly Putty.
#4 - Minnie looks like she's trying to imitate the wolf from Red Riding Hood. "What big eyes, ears and nose you have!"
#5 - Yes child, run away. Even adults will be haunted by these images.
Points to the bakers for at LEAST making the characters instantly recognizable even if they also look mutated.
That first cake is a darn shame. Because the font is pretty cool.
That first one is so shiny that it looks plastic...??? And I'm sort of curious about what that 4th one is made of, but then most of me doesn't really want to know, as it doesn't look edible :-P

Donald doesn't look far off, but I'm reminded of the Hamas knockoff of Mickey Mouse.
At first I thought 2st cake was an "Abstract Upside Down Mickey Mouse". It took me almost an entire minute to see it was trying to be Donald Duck!!! Do I need more coffee or???
I must look at too many wrecks now after all these years, because I didn't think Donald was too bad. Although I do wonder why he has four eyebrows.
The first one looks like the satanic love child of Chip, Dale, and Mickey.

On the first cake, forget the wretched rat thingy, the chin rest, and the whatever is on the rat thingy's head. Those are not what I noticed. So, I need to know if cartoon rat thingies pee from their heads. Someone had a wee accident.Blergh!

BTW, that first one cannot be Mickey Mouse. It looks more like Chuck E. Cheese.
On the plus side; I think it would be a stretch to classify any of these as copyright infringement.
Donald's kind of interesting; surrealistic, but interesting. Goofy looks like he's been drinking himself goofy. Mickey & Minnie are the stuff of nightmares - and I was kind of scared of Heffalumps & Woozels as a kid!
I remember the running kid meme 'I just saw a snowflake' now I have another one 'I just saw deformed Mickey Mouse characters'
They all look like me the day I realized I could retire in 2018 and I was entitled to 6 weeks vacation after 25 years of service.
