I think the first one looks kind of fishy.
All I can see in the first one is a pitiful, painted pug dog with no back legs. Poor little pooch...
Aside from that, THANK YOU, for thanking the vets and current service people! My Dad and Mom were married while in the Navy in 1941. They're both gone, now, but I still get choked up any time a band plays "Anchors Aweigh" during a parade. (And they would've loved this!) Great job, Sharyn! (All of you are sparklers and brass bands and firecrackers, in my book.)
The best part about the "US4" is the "extra" cupcakes they tried awkwardly to incorporate into the design. It's like the classic comedy trope where somebody tries to put together a "some assembly required" thing without instructions and ends up with "parts left over".

The tag on The Roadkill of Liberty says "Cupcake Critters with icing" so presumably there is something other then frosting under that plastic? I don't believe it for a minute!
US4??? And we wonder why other countries make fun of us... **sigh**
I think the patriotic boomerang is a rainbow. Which is kind of awesome.
If only the baker had thought to use the "extra" cupcakes for the other side of the A, we might have seen USA instead of US4. Oh, but that would require thinking.
@Jodee : You can feel better now, because what looks like "US4" is actually "USA". It looks odd because the "S" in the middle is stepping on the A 's foot!
Please also note that one of the stickers on the rainbow penis box states that they are "chocolate with chocolate icing". Chocolate icing? I doubt it.

From the coloring of the US4 cupcakes, it seems the wreckerator definitely intended the U to have a little foot to help hoist the S up a bit. If it had been a displaced part of the A, it would have been blue with red stars.
I want that Oven Mitt of Allegiance, but as an actual oven mitt, not as a CCC (patooi)!
Love the last one. It reminds members of the armed forces to accessorize with some tasteful pearls before going into battle.

Jane, those cookies in the last picture are NOT wrecks. The chains that hold army tags (metal, not pearls) really do look like that. I'm not sure why the cookies are decorated with the Dutch flag (if they're for Dutch veterans, why is the writing in English?), but it may be good sense on the decorator's part. I'm sure anyone who can do those dog tags could do a proper US flag, but maybe they weren't sure, or they thought it would look too fiddly, so they've just gone with red, white & blue.
As a veteran, it's actually a bit refreshing to see something less serious for Veteran's Day. Thank you for the laugh! :-)
