A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

October 28, 2011 We had some complaints after our Whirled Series Cardinals post the other day, and surprisingly enough, they were from Rangers fans. Yep. Apparently they want to see their logo butchered on baked goods, too.

I actually like it but the only error is the hat the "T" looks a bit like a backward "J" at the bottom point. Plus I think they've been wearing red hats off and on now.

Sorry, Violetrose, but that's actually a Power Rangers reference. But if you're a pre-PR watcher, that makes sense. The chorus for the Power Rangers theme (I use that term loosely) is "Go Go Power Rangers!"
