What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

Cake Wrecks accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation. These include:

- BlogHer Ads: I am a member of BlogHer Ads, and their advertisements appears in my blog’s header and sidebar. I receive monetary payment not based on the content published on my blog but for showing their ads in my blog’s header and sidebar.

BlogHer has strict rules regarding the content I publish on this blog and I am bound by contract to adhere to their rules. For example, I am prohibited from posting any reviews for which I’ve been paid money to write.

- Amazon Associates Program: Purchases made through Amazon affiliate links on this blog yield a small referral fee. This applies to all purchases made on Amazon, regardless of whether the product the consumer purchased was mentioned by me or not. The consumer’s purchases are confidential; I don’t know who has purchased items using my blog’s Amazon Associate links.

The compensation received will never influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog. All advertising is in the form of advertisements generated by a third party ad network. Those advertisements will be identified as paid advertisements.

I have to post a comment on this simply because I was going through the archives and got curious to read your disclosure statement. Also, I appreciate the link to the disclosure creation site. That's pretty cool.

But really, I just wanted to be the odd one out by writing a comment on your disclosure statement of all things. Perhaps I can hit up your "About Me" or "Submission Guidelines" and comment there next.

That is, if you allow it. ;)

PS - Absolutely love the site. Have almost busted myself laughing so hard while trying to contain it on some of these. And I love that you chose "Under Neat That..." as one of your book covers.
